MAN UP AMERICA

Sorry about the overt sexism in telling you to get some backbone U.S.A.I guess after Hillary is ejected we won't have that sexism problem anymorewe'll just have a bunch of other problems.

And it's all your fault, America, because you keep electing the problems.

We're still over a year away from the big day but we already have dozens of polls telling us who will be running in the general election and who will win if there's rain in Kentucky and snow in Montana, and the pollsters know all this because you tell them. Then the following week some other pollster calls and you tell him the Democrat will win if more people vote in the morning but the afternoon rush goes to Republicans, and they give us yet another winner.

Whatever answer you want, you can find a pollster to get it for you. Obama wins in Iowa/Obama looses in Iowa. Romney wins in New Hampshire/Romney gets a crew cut in New Hampshire. We have polls saying you like Rudy best in a blonde wig and a red bustier and another that says a page boy and a strapless evening gown look best on the cross-dressing former Mayor. Most of you like Fred Thompson as the Captain of an aircraft carrier more than you do as a presidential candidateexcept Law and Order fans, who like him better than other actors who've played District Attorneys but who didn't run for president. There's a poll of those who believe Kucinich saw an alien spacecraft, and there's a poll of those who believe Kucinich is an alien, because short guys from Cleveland don't marry hot babes from England.

Polls can say anything you want them to say, and that's why we have to pay attention when every poll says the same thingAmericans don't like our government. We don't like the President, we don't like the Congress, and no one's asked, but we probably don't like the Courts. (Of course we don't like the Vice Presidentit's Satan's job to not be liked.)

Our contempt for these people is staggering. 23% of the nation thinks George W. Bush is the worst president in history. That's somewhere around seventy million peoplehere's the number if you had to write a check for it; $70,000,000. That's more people than those without healthcare. That's the entire population of California, Nevada, New Mexico, Montana, Alaska, then throw in Canada. (In the interest of fairness, about 1% think Dubya is the best president ever, which is slightly less than the number of people who are worried their children will actually attend Hogwarts.)

Our universal opinion of Congress is just as bad if not worsebut here's the thing; you people elected these people. You people elected Bush twice, even after he lied you into a war and sold America to the Chinese. You people replaced the corrupt blowhards in Congress with these spineless wimpsand the worst part is; YOU ARE GOING TO DO ITT AGAIN!

You're going to elect one these "candidates" to high office, and when you get screwed again, you're going to whine and complain then step into the voting booth and do the same thing all over again.

Sack up, America, quit wringing you hands like caucusing Democrats and do something about it. Stop agreeing with hate-mongers like Rush Limbaugh who tell you liberals are evil, stop giving the nod to Randi Rhodes who tells you conservatives are Nazis, and what ever you do, stop listening to your 8th Grade Civics teacher who told you America is a republic not a democracy so you can't do diddly about your "representatives." (I'll bet you didn't know Darth Cheney has actually said the people elected him as their representatives because he knows best.)

Finally, stop living in fear of the Electoral College. "Wah, wah, wah, I have to vote for one of the major parties or my vote won't count."

Man up, you sissies, and vote for someone you honestly believe in, rather than holding your nose and voting for somebody just because you don't want the other somebody. Don't pull a Robertson and back a guy who you previously said was one of the defacto causes of 9/11it's raining irony there. Throw 'em all out and send a message that you're done with this crap. And if they don't do the job, throw them out too. This means you have to do the work America, it's your due diligence, but it might interrupt your watching NASCAR or making that 8:00am tee time.

It's your choice.

But you won't make the right choice, America, you haven't for years. If you want to change things you have to do it togetherthat's Democrats, Republicans, Independentstogether. The last time you folks worked together was when that other George was kingKing George III in the 1770's. If you ask me I think you're selfish, scared, and shortsighted, and what we have is the result of your lackluster efforts.

You have another chance on November 4, 2008. Step up America, and prove me wrong.
