The science of Cybernetics is the study and application of regulatory systems and is being applied to biological, computer, social, economic, communication, and other systems. Cybernetic analysis takes place within a closed signaling loop and it can be applied to artificial intelligence, robotics, neuroscience, and social control. Although Cybernetics has been applied to Quantum Physics and consciousness, its inherent flaw is that it is based on a faulty premise: that Mankind, society, and all systems operate within a “closed signaling loop.”

Cybernetic theory leads to the conclusion that men and women, the Earth, and the cosmos are one giant integrated computer-like system which can be programmed like a computer. The inevitable result of Cybernetic belief systems is the attempt to program men and women by a largely invisible group of programmers who are often referred to as the scientific elite. The French physicist Andre-Marie Ampere used the word “cybernetique” in an 1834 paper on the science of civil government. Jay Forrester developed electronic control systems for the U.S. Navy and later applied these concepts to social organizations, corporations and cities. Forrester was one of the original organizers of the MIT School of Industrial Management and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Forrester is also credited as the founder of System Dynamics. W. Edwards Deming, known as the originator of Total Quality Management, was influenced by System Dynamics.

The net effect of Cybernetic Theory is the perception that all people, society, and the world itself are computers or machines that can be programmed or reprogrammed. The ignored consequence of Cybernetics is that people are viewed as robots, so that Cybernetics and all of its spinoffs such as “System Dynamics” and Total Quality Management result in widespread dehumanization. We now have countless millions of people in America and around the world who no longer have an authentic sense of self, and their behaviors and actions are more like Robots than people. Whether or not you accept the Judeo-Christian belief system, when properly taught and acted upon it teaches that all people are sacred or holy and made in the image of God. This Judeo Christian God is also known as the Infinite Personal Living God of the Universe, for God is not a non-personal mystical force or non-personal energy. God is a Supreme Being and men and women are created in God’s image. That may seem simplistic, but in today’s world those ideas are absolutely revolutionary.

The Judeo Christian world view teaches that ultimately God is love and it was out of love that God created Mankind and Planet Earth. The two primary difficulties that people have in understanding this are best expressed by the questions “If God is love why does He allow such horrible things to happen?” and “Why does God apparently condone what appear to be horrific acts?” All of these are valid questions, to which there are answers, but they cannot be reduced to a sound byte. Secondly, people have a right to ask the question, “If God is real, then why do I see such a lack of love and such hypocrisy among those who claim to believe in a Judeo-Christian God?” All of these are questions that any intelligent person would and should ask. But in response to the second question, the fact that so many of the people who claim to believe in a God of love are not loving does not disprove the existence of a God of love; it simply means that the people claiming to believe in Him have missed the boat. These questions deserve adequate answers, but in this brief article there is no way to address them in the manner they deserve.

But the take-away from all this is that either we are essentially biological robots that are evolving in a non-personal and computer-like universe, or the universe and Mankind have been created by an Infinite and Personal Living God.

The problem with a Cybernetic view of Man and the universe is that it reduces men and women to machines or robots which can be treated in any way and discarded without a thought. Ideas have consequences. Adolph Hitler and the Third Reich used IBM punch cards to create a pre-computerized system of death. In a New York Times Book Review entitled “The Punch Card Conspiracy – A Journalist Explores relations between I.B.M. and the Third Reich,” by Gabriel Schoenfeld, he writes:

“IBM, primarily through its German subsidiary, made Hitler's program of Jewish destruction a technologic mission the company pursued with chilling success. IBM Germany, using its own staff and equipment, designed, executed, and supplied the indispensable technologic assistance Hitler's Third Reich needed to accomplish what had never been done before—the automation of human destruction. More than 2,000 such multi-machine sets were dispatched throughout Germany and thousands more throughout German-dominated Europe. Card sorting operations were established in every major concentration camp. People were moved from place to place, systematically worked to death, and their remains cataloged with icy automation.”

In Nazi Germany a number of what could be called Cybernetic sociological events took place. First, there was the machine-like organization of killing over seven million people, who were perceived as subhuman. Secondly, there was the pervasive robotic response of the hard working German people who had been socially engineered to become non-persons themselves and act like robots, obeying every order of the Third Reich and when questioned “Why?” They would answer like programmed robots “I am just doing my job” or “I am just following orders.” All totalitarian regimes transform the masses into unthinking and unfeeling robots. For it is only when men and women become non-human and like robots that they will carry out unspeakable evil, even mass slaughter without question. The fast track to totalitarianism is always through dehumanization. America is in the dehumanization process and it is no small thing when the people around you stop acting and speaking like feeling and loving human beings. It is no small thing when you call any corporate help-desk and the people sound like robots communicating to you as if they were soulless machines. It is no small thing when in every dimension of American social life people are acting like robots. It is no small thing when all around you people have been dehumanized and disconnected from themselves!

Mankind has now entered a new era with the advent of Artificial Intelligence, Transhumanism, robotics, Androids, computer brain interfaces, and Quantum Physics. The basic consciousness of men and women across the world is built on the idea that human beings inhabit Earth and it is up Mankind collectively to save the planet, or, as Buckminster Fuller said, “Spaceship Earth.” The basic plan for saving Planet Earth is to create a one world government, one world economic system and one world religion so that Mankind can create a virtual reality “paradise” ruled by an elite.

The individual made in the image of God must die, and even the memory of such an idea must die to bring about this “paradise.” People must be programmed to become part of the Collective, and lose their identities in the “hive mind.” The Scientific Elite, a term coined by Aldous Huxley, must unify and control the consciousness of Mankind. Huxley and others advocate the use of scientific mind control using psychotropic drugs, pyschotronic technologies, computer-brain interfaces, microchip implants, social engineering, genetic breeding, and other technologies to merge all men and women into a single “hive mind,” or super-consciousness collective controlled by what H.G. Wells called the World Brain.

In order for that to happen there must be a global “depatterning,” a process used by the infamous Dr. Ewen Cameron, a Scottish born US psychiatrist and former head of the American and World Psychiatric Associations who conducted brutal experiments on patients confined to a hospital in order to literally erase their minds, so they could be reprogrammed. Cameron would use electroshocks, sleep deprivations, drugs, long-term drug induced sleep, play endless hours of tape recorded commands into their minds, put them in isolation boxes and give them massive doses of LSD. As barbaric as that is, the question may be asked, where is the evidence of that kind practice going on now? The reality is that mass social engineering can now take place using far more efficient technologies that are far more subtle.

What is the answer to the rise of robotic people and pervasive dehumanization? The answer is to act, think, and speak in a way that causes people to become human again. It means first becoming human yourself and getting off autopilot and refusing to give the control of your mind to others. This is not as easy as it sounds and it will require discipline, strategy, and diplomacy. The minute you start to deviate from the proscribed norm, you will be met with strange looks, and remarks designed to put you back on the “plantation.” But never underestimate the power of truth, whether that truth is on a relationship level, economic level, or spiritual level. The truth as it applies to all areas of life sets us free.
