Life is full of dangers, battles and miracles. Don’t I know it. August 25th, 2005 I was left in a coma and in the hospital two months after a near fatal motorcycle accident. My life has never been the same. With the severity of all my brain injuries, most thought my life would be at best compromised. I chose to make it better even with my bad eye and adjustments. I am working, dreaming and moving forward on many fronts.
My friend, crime blogger, best selling author, host, survivor and regular guest on The Roth Show, Susan Murphy Milano knows all about that. She has survived the fear and horror of her Dad, a celebrated cop, murdering her Mother, then committing suicide. Susan grew up facing her demons, confronting criminals and standing with the victims, but she has done more then stand with victims. She has charted a courageous course for them to survive and get out of danger with her evidentiary abuse affidavit. Thousands of lives have been saved because of Susan and a ray of hope given to victim’s families. Find out more here.
The crime blogger battles cancer
Just recently, Susan Murphy Milano called me at home and told me she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was starting aggressive treatment. She said the Doctors and her were most hopeful but that she had no health insurance, was praying for healing and needed help.
Susan has done a weekly segment on my national radio show for more than 2 years and I have watched in amazement her ‘sleuth’ her way into criminal’s faces and turn cases around with her unique kind of ‘in your face’ pressure. She has invited on all kinds of experts to our weekly segment, who investigate missing person and other criminal events. She has also sat with and cried with family members.

Now facing serious cancer, Susan would want you all to know that she is no victim, nor does she want anyone’s pity because she is fighting stage 4 cancer. Just as Susan has a knack for putting pressure on the criminal’s neck and finding out the truth, she intends to win this battle she faces now with cancer. I guess it takes a survivor of horrific pain, crime and betrayal like Susan to go where most dare not to go and find ways to keep people alive.
I know Susan to be a woman of faith, who knows the power of prayer. She is loved by all of us who have had the honor and privilege to get to know her. Susan is my friend. I love her dearly and am praying for her daily…for her complete healing. You do the same please. Let us all click here and give a big donation, tell 10 more people to do the same and pray for her.
Thank you Susan for making such a difference in our lives. Fight and WIN.
