READ MY LIPS: NO NUCLEAR IRAN

Well, thank God Putin is warning us about putting those evil little sanctions on Iran. He allegedly said that running around like a madman with a razor blade, waving it around is not the best way to resolve the situation. I'm sure that is true! We have already tried running around with our tweezers and razor blades for years now. At least we have tons of tweezers to attack with from those dangerous travelers on planes. At this rate it will take about 1400 years for these tools to break through the outer layer of one of Iran's nuclear sites and that is if an earthquake in the area helps loosen the metal.

Oh well, given the limitations of these small tools we can always keep inviting him to speak at our Universities and Media. History should teach us how talking and talking has helped stop the onslaught of evil. Ask Neville Chamberlain after he met with Hitler!

Another warning about taking on Iran comes this week from moveon.org. They say that there is nothing stopping Bush from launching that attack any day. They call this action reckless! Of course it is!!! Some people might die and buildings might be smashed. What a mess. In the process however, we might also destroy a bunch of nuclear plants and keep the next Hiroshima from dropping on L.A. and New York, while saving Televive from turning into a radiation parking lot.

This Iranian horror show is not about Bush. I have issues with many things he has and has not done. So do many of you!! This is not about oil, though we are always concerned about getting oil at the right price and protecting our Middle East connections with it. Is there a concern about corruption and greed with big oil companies and other elitist corporations? Of course. Greed and big fat corporations are part of the evil heart behind the movement of the North American Union! Does all this dilute the threat from Iran and their nuclear push and progress? NO!!! With his cunning, PR manipulating presence and groomed hair, Ahmadinejad has had a career of kidnapping, beatings, torture and threats against the west and Israel. He acts threatening, hallucinogenic and psychotic in some interviews, then waxes, emotional and empathetic talk show host in many others, much like Hitler did. He is a master manipulator playing the world scene as he dreams of the Madi coming out of the well!!!

Israel is more concerned than ever. Olmert came out this week and declared that Iran had gone to the next step with their nuclear program. So much so that sanctions are NO LONGER possible!!! There have been dozens of direct threats to Israel over the years from Ahmadinejad. With Israel's history of vicious attacks from their neighbors and with these extermination threats, are they to sit and wait for Telavive to disappear???

Whether war ends up being the answer with Iran, we all pray not. No one wants a slaughter and another war!!! Lives, money, energy��.who needs another nightmare? Or do we have a choice?

Have we not yet learned from our history with tyrants that evil exists, regardless of the price of oil, or if a Republican or Democrat is in the White House? How much talking and negotiation worked with Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic and Hussein? At least we did something this week and put heavier sanctions on Iran, putting the kibosh on Iranian military and banking institutions. It may not be perfect but it is something formal letting Iran know their movement into the nuclear world is not acceptable.

I'm sorry however to say that my gut tells me Olmert is right. It is too late for sanctions. I would prefer that we were connected enough and clever enough to put together a regime change with the younger supporters there. I will ask you all the question. Can we afford in the interest of "fairness" to allow Ahmadinejad nuclear power given his track record of terror and threats? Would we have given Hitler the nuclear bomb since he was such a good speaker and said he just had the concerns of Germany on his mind?

I am not for tyrannical assertion of our way of life on every other country. I am also not for pretending that evil isn't a late stage cancer that grows and possesses critical body parts. As 9/11 happened out of the blue, so will a nuclear attack happen on our shores if we continue to fantasize about the rights of murderous tyrants instead of level them!
