DIANE SAWYER'S BIAS IN FAVOR OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

On Monday, June 25, 2012, when the Supreme Court voted to validate Arizona’s S.B. 1070 law that allows police officers to check for immigration status after a traffic stop, the ACLU, LaRaza and other pro-illegal migrant organizations cried racism and discrimination. They screamed about the breach of human rights thrust upon illegal aliens residing in Arizona.

Arizona Governor Janet Brewer hailed the decision as another tool in her arsenal to rid the state of illegal aliens. Illegal alien President Barack Obama immediately condemned the Supreme Court by cutting all 287G and ICE activity in Arizona.

Attorney General Eric Holder, up to his eyeballs in legal problems, stood in contempt of court for his “Fast and Furious” activities—so he couldn’t take much action to undermine our laws.

But on Monday night, ABC’s anchor Diane Sawyer put on a show of bias in favor of illegal aliens that hasn’t been seen in years. Sawyer, paid a reported $12 million annually, nearly came to tears in her sadness that the Supreme Court actually validated Arizona’s right to defend itself from its reported 1.1 million illegal aliens that trash its schools, welfare, lunch programs, medical care, undercut taxes and cost millions for criminals in their jails.

She interviewed Jorge Ramos, a Univision Mexican advocacy media outlet, that has teamed with ABC News. Sawyer asked Ramos about all the “immigrants” that will suffer from this Supreme Court decision.

Ramos said, “This decision will affect millions of ‘immigrants’ who have traveled from South, and Central America along with Mexican immigrants…they are being persecuted when they only came to this country for a better life. It’s a sad statement for the people of America….”

Neither Ramos or Sawyer mentioned that legal immigrants will not be affected. Neither will anchor babies! The law only affects those who have crossed our borders illegally, without invitation, without lawful warrant, and live and work in violation of U.S. laws. They know they are breaking the laws and they know they can be caught and deported 24/7.

Diane Sawyer knows they broke the law. She knows illegal immigration remains illegal. She knows anyone that breaks the law remains vulnerable to arrest. No other nation on the planet allows endless illegal migration like the United States.

Sawyer’s eye makeup nearly ran down her cheeks from her pain of the law being upheld. So much for unbiased news reporting that pays her gazillions of dollars for her half hour of work five days a week!

In effect, the news bias in favor of illegal aliens runs the gamut at NPR, CBS, ABC and NBC. The American people find themselves being condemned at every juncture for standing up for the ‘rule of law’. Activists suffer name calling such as ‘racist, xenophobe and nativist’ when they speak up against law breaking. The total result: 12 to 20 million illegal aliens enjoy ‘sanctuary cities’, anchor babies also known as jackpot babies that allow them to remain in America, money sent back to home countries in cash transfers totaling as high as $80 billion annually, ESL, and free breakfasts and lunches for their children along with free medical care.

While in America, illegal migrants break U.S. laws and over eight million illegals enjoy full time jobs while 14 million legal American citizens cannot secure a job at a living wage. At the same time, illegal aliens, according the economist Edwin Rubenstein, cost taxpayers $346 billion annually across 15 federal agencies. (Source: www.TheSocialContract.com)

One must ask: was Diane Sawyer weeping to encourage more illegal alien migrants? Was she crying for the American taxpayer? Was she crying because of U.S. schools being destroyed from multiple languages, poverty, free lunches and cultural disruption of classrooms? Was she crying because the Supreme Court upheld the rule of law?

Sounder minds chimed in to the debate on the amnesty and endless immigration. Roy Beck, director of www.NumbersUSA.org , said, “President Obama thwarted the will of Congress and shunned the 20 million under-employed and unemployed Americans by announcing he will grant work permits to 2 million to 3 million illegal immigrants. The president suggests that his new policy is designed to enact as much of the DREAM Act amnesty as possible because Congress hasn't acted on its own. But Congress indeed has acted -- three times in votes that rejected granting these illegal aliens the legal residency and work permits that the president now says he will deal out all by himself.

“The unavoidable fact is that Mr. Obama's announced executive amnesty will increase the supply of legal workers to compete for jobs with the 20 million Americans who can't find a job or have been forced into part-time work. The president may think he can repeal the laws of Congress but he can't repeal the law of supply and demand.”

Could Diane Sawyer weep for the 14 million Americans without jobs? How about the 13 million American children living under the poverty line? How about the 46 million Americans subsisting on food stamps because they cannot secure a job Ms. Sawyer? How about millions of black and Hispanic Americans that can’t secure jobs?

At what point will someone in the media speak without a forked tongue? When will they tell it like it is? What about journalist integrity? How about interviewing an American like Roy Beck rather than a Mexican representative like Jorge Ramos? What about advocating for America first and urge Ramos to fix his own country’s problems?

In a five minute astoundingly simple yet brilliant video, “Immigration, Poverty, and Gum Balls”, Roy Beck, director of www.numbersusa.ORG, graphically illustrates the impact of overpopulation. Take five minutes to see for yourself:

“Immigration by the numbers—off the chart” by Roy Beck

This 10 minute demonstration shows Americans the results of unending mass immigration on the quality of life and sustainability for future generations: in a word “Mind boggling!” www.NumbersUSA.org

If those two videos don’t help Americans understand our predicament, we may be apathetic beyond help, stupid beyond understanding or just plain thick beyond comprehension.

Is Diane Sawyer too stupid or emotional to understand the consequences of adding 100 million immigrants? Maybe I am asking too much from Diane Sawyer to apply logic or reality. That could be said for the American people.
