Last month, an illegal alien, driving with a suspended license and no insurance, turned his car into and killed motorcyclist, husband and father, Dale Englerth, 51, of Lafayette, Colorado.

Francisco Montero carried a counterfeit green card as well as a forged social security card. Being a �man about town� he sported nine prior traffic arrests in Colorado and four times by the Boulder Police Department. He spoke no English. Despite his numerous encounters with the law, Montero�s immigration status was never checked because Boulder, Colorado is a sanctuary city. After running down Englerth, Montero was bonded out the next day on an un-bondable offense--an accident causing death. He was set free by Boulder police to continue victimizing innocent Americans.

He could have fled back to Mexico, but he knew Boulder police were unlikely to report him to the Bureau of Immigration, Customs and Enforcement. After I made inquiries as to his being an illegal alien, Boulder Police Department contacted ICE that Montero �might� be an illegal�eight days later!

Astonishingly, Montero applied for and received a Colorado license with his forged documents, but soon suffered a revoked license on a DUI conviction.

Englerth�s death echoed Denver Officer Don Young�s shooting execution by illegal alien Raul Gomez�employed by Denver�s Mayor Hickenlooper�last April. After the Mother�s Day shooting, Gomez pulled a full shift as a dishwasher at Hickenlooper�s restaurant before driving to Los Angeles where he vanished into Mexico.

Another Denver man, Justin Goodman, like Englerth, suffered death when he was struck on his motorcycle by an illegal alien last summer also with many prior arrests by Denver cops. Whereas Young�s death became national headlines because of his being a police officer, Englerth and Goodman died as average citizens. A two tiered law enforcement system caused the death of all three U.S. citizens. One is lawful for you and me; the second allows illegals to break our laws repeatedly with no consequences whatsoever to them.

Illegal aliens enjoy Denver�s and Boulder�s sanctuary policies protecting them from arrest and deportation. Republican Governor Bill Owens supports illegal aliens in Colorado with his endorsement of a Spanish booklet showing them how to imbed themselves in our schools, jobs, medical facilities and how to evade detection by immigration agents. After the guide was exposed, he gave lip service to not knowing he signed it, but he has done nothing to impede illegals in Colorado. Thus, three more Americans died because rogue officials supported lawlessness rather than our laws.

This year, Arizona passed Proposition 200 denying services to illegal aliens. Colorado is following suit in 2006 with www.defendcoloradonow.com Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano�s (D) support of illegal aliens got the best of her and she declared a �state of emergency� because the state was overrun by illegal aliens in excess of 500,000. Governor Richardson (D) of New Mexico followed suit. Recently, Republican Governor Rick Perry of Texas has declared new initiatives to stop the invasion in the Lone Star State.

California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas suffer this invasion first hand. People are beginning to notice. A reporter from an Arizona paper wrote, �I enjoyed your �ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION�S THIRD WORLD MOMENTUM.�� It was reminiscent of one of my favorite books, "Working" by Studs Terkel. It is the voice of Americans from all walks of life who are witnessing the downfall of our society. And, sadly, people keep reelecting those who perpetuate these failed policies while promoting globalization with Third-World countries. The United States uses its middle class as a barometer for its economic health. A thriving middle class is the sign of a stable economy. It should be blatantly clear we cannot globalize our economy with Third-World nations that have no middle class without eradicating ours. Yet, that is unfortunately where our leadership is guiding the sheeple who sit back and silently watch as America disappears into the bowels of the Third-World.�

I am asked by readers, �What can I do?� Short answer: a great deal! You don�t have to wait and you don�t have to sit back. You can force your own state governor to declare a �state of emergency� concerning illegal aliens.

Here is the action taken by a handful of citizens in Colorado that received attention on National Public Radio, local TV, radio and (websites nationwide). Citizen-activist Terry Graham (www.freespeechforum.org) created a petition which included four demands (see below), gathered signatures over the course of one month, and asked a handful of like-minded activists to deliver it to Governor Owens� office at the state Capitol. Press releases were emailed and faxed to a prepared media list, and posted on key websites by these activists.

These tactics can be copied by citizens coast to coast.

Additionally, their efforts gave more citizens impetus to take action in their own states with their own governors. Here is how to make your governor declare a �state of emergency� concerning illegal aliens in your state. A handful of people in all 50 states could bring this declaration to national prominence. When people hear about it, more will get off their tail feathers and join the movement to save our country from mass immigration.

Here is how to make your governor declare a �state of emergency� concerning illegal aliens in your state. Create a simple petition with a few straightforward demands that the illegal alien invasion be addressed NOW. Present the petition to your state�s governor. Make yourselves available for interviews and follow up by meeting with your governor.

Below is a news release the Colorado activists distributed to the press. You can do these two ways:
1. simply take the petition to your governor�s office without fanfare and send out press releases afterwards if you don�t want confrontation, or,
2. you write a press release for your local TV, radio and newspapers. Send it out to all media outlets three days before the day you present the petition to your governor. Phone each TV channel, radio and newspaper to make sure they have it and will cover it. Create and carry large signs which create tremendous media coverage. Don�t talk about the news: BECOME THE NEWS!

CITIZENS ASK COLORADO GOVERNOR OWENS TO ACT ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

A group of Citizens today delivered petitions* to Governor Bill Owens asking him to immediately declare a State of Emergency in Colorado "to halt the terrible social and economic impact of illegal immigration."

The petition also asks Governor Owens to issue an immediate executive order reversing all written and de facto sanctuary policies for illegal aliens throughout Colorado; to designate sports arenas, former military bases and other facilities as overflow holding areas for illegal aliens awaiting deportation--ending current catch-and-release policies--and to enforce the Official English clause of the Colorado Constitution.

Graham was joined at the State Capitol this morning by Colorado Minutemen co-founder Robert Copley, Jr; talk show host Michael Corbin -- who heads the Coalition For A Closer Look; Fred Elbel, Director of the Colorado Alliance for Immigration Reform (CAIR); Charlie Vons, Co-Director of the Colorado 911 Visibility Project; and immigration-reform journalist and talk show host Frosty Wooldridge.

"Colorado is being destroyed by illegal immigration," said Graham, a Republican from Boulder County. "Governor Owens has a sworn duty to uphold the law, and protect, defend and serve his constituents and employers -- the Citizens of Colorado."

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano have declared States of Emergency in response to problems associated with Illegal immigration. ####

We, the undersigned Citizens of Colorado, demand that you immediately take the following steps to halt the terrible social and economic impact of illegal immigration in the State of Colorado:

1) Declare a State of Emergency in the State of Colorado

2) Issue an Emergency Executive Order reversing all written and de facto �Sanctuary� policies throughout Colorado

3) Issue an Emergency Executive Order designating sports arenas, former military bases, and other facilities as �overflow� holding areas for illegal aliens awaiting hearings and deportations (ending dangerous catch-and-release policies)

That�s all there is to it. You present this petition, signed by 50, 100 or more citizens in your state, to the office of your state governor. You can obtain those signatures in front of a grocery store in a few hours. Make sure you send out the press releases to all media and follow up with phone calls. Check with your local web sites on illegal immigration to get more people to sign and more people to go up to deliver the petition to your governor�s office. Make certain the cameras roll along with signs by citizens delivering the petitions. Make sure your signs pinpoint sore spots such as cost of educating illegals who shouldn�t be in the USA, anchor baby costs to your hospitals, drug crimes, diseases and gangs.
