The Sacred Treasure of a (Real) Christian Man

Back in 2020, when it was perilous to be a free thinker in the world and want personal sovereignty over your own body, multitudes of companies and businesses were mandating their employees allow the USGov and the Pharmakei Industry to inject American citizens with an untested, unproven, and undisclosed foreign substance into their bodies.  The swiftness with which they produced such a toxin under the ruse of “vaccine” for a virus they still hadn’t isolated, caused many free thinkers to pause.  “Hang on!” many free thinking Americans said.  Let’s get some more information before we jump on this heavily ramrodded agenda.

I did my own digging into the narrative and the counter-narrative and a few things in between, and wrote an article about it in April of 2020.  After over forty hours of research, I concluded it was NOT in my best interest – nor humanity’s – to jump in line for this poison, for no less than about fifty reasons.

After a plea, they resorted to peer pressure, and after that got underway they began the bribes, and on the tail of the bribes, they began the threats and intimidation.  Somehow it was no longer an issue of mankind making decisions for themselves, and became a tool of tyranny for compliance.

At that time my husband had been working at UPS for over 30 years.  UPS had not mandated the injection to its drivers, but it did quietly begin mandating it to select administrative positions.  (Explain that!)  As the government strong armed most of corporate America into compliance, the window of freedom began closing.  For some it closed really fast, and they were forced to choose between their health freedom and their source of income.

I had done enough research to be convinced it could be to our peril to acquiesce.  At the time, five of our children were working in the medical industry.  We implored them to NOT get the vaccine.  Then one night my husband threw me a curve ball.  Pressure was mounting across corporate America, and it was knocking at UPS’s door.  I had all but forbidden him to get the poison concoction.

We had friends who were losing their jobs for refusing, even though they had sincerely held religious beliefs that prevented them from compliance.  One of my dear brother’s job was hanging in the balance as he jumped through hoop after hoop, filled out form after form, had interview after interview to request an exemption.  It was looking like he was going to lose his job, (and they had just moved to a new home).

Then Bill (my husband) said one night, “Michelle, what if I get the vaccine?  Then I can keep my job and if the kids lose their jobs for rejecting it, I can provide for them.”  I was speechless.  This was not an option.  He saw my look of angst and followed up with, “I’d rather sacrifice for you and the kids than any of you have to get it.  If they have to quit or get fired, they could move back in and I could work for us all until the smoke clears and we get on the other side of this.”

First, that was never a viable option for me.  I’d rather be homeless than watch my husband be poisoned.  Second, his company backed off the mandates, so he never had to make that decision.

I think sometimes the gravity of decisions (both ours and others) doesn’t hit us at the time the decisions are made, and as time passes we see nuances and facets we missed in the heat of the moment.  At the time I thought that was a rash decision.  But Bill had spent weeks thinking of all the options on the table, and many of those options were being taken away one by one.

The amazing men in my world that I’ve been honored to know for decades now, emulate this very scenario regularly.  Their minds work from an ever moving checklist of threats to their family and how to defend against them, to analyzing scenarios for the best outcome for their wives, children and even extended family.  They work tirelessly at providing, protecting, and loving in action those they love and feel responsible for.

I have another brother who lost his job because of a corporation that set out to destroy a small business he worked for.  He went over two years looking for a job and working a side hustle to keep his home afloat.  He never took a penny in unemployment or welfare or any government handout.  He sacrificed a number of things in that two years to do what he thought was honorable and right.

At a time America is pathetically short on righteousness in leadership, I look around at the Christian men around me who exemplify righteousness, honor, and moral excellence.  This is the true backbone of America.  This is what God will use to rebuild what the enemy has torn down.

At a time in America when God fearing men are mocked and scorned, when men of strength and valor are assaulted for being strong and courageous, when men who daily lay down their lives for the people they love are vilified… and weak men, or women pretending to be men, or men pretending to be women are lauded as the picture of progression and the face of the future, God have mercy, though we dare not expect it.

The Christian man is the last hope (in the flesh) for America.  (and the Christian woman, but this is not for this paper)  And I’m not talking about church attendees, or six-figure preachers, or philanthropists who acknowledge there is a God.  I’m talking about bona fide disciples of Christ who have studied His words and applied His teachings.  There are precious few veritable Christian men and women in this nation that fit that description.  But God has a way of culling the herd back to the handful He wants to use.

There is such a distorted, muzzled, and muffled image of Christ in the world today.  So much of our theology is wrong.  So much of our application is amiss.  So much of our collective efforts are worthless.  It’s getting harder and harder to see Christ among us.

But a man who lays down his life for his wife and family, THAT is the most poignant picture of Christ this world will see.  And the world desperately needs to see Christ.

When my husband suggested he get the vaccine in lieu of any of us having to, he was offering himself to suffer (and maybe die) so that we could live.  Is there a better picture of Christ than that?  What can God do with men who personify Him in a world that doesn’t know Him?

I know it’s election season and the weight of our nation’s future is precariously dangling over the precipice of utter ruin.  But returning to the simplicity of the Gospel, returning to the basic precepts of the faith, standing when the rest of the world is tilting, these are the things that will push back the encroaching darkness and give footing to righteousness once again in this land.

There are a lot of things that can represent Christ in this life and living, but in Scripture, the marriage union is the one that is laid out with specifics.  (Ephesians 5:32)  And just like discipleship, it’s not a one time sacrifice.  It’s a daily sacrifice.  While Bill entertained the idea of sacrificing his health for his family’s freedom for health, he did not have to walk that out.  (Nor do I think I’d allow it.)  But Bill has laid his life and personal interests on the altar time and again for me and our family.  He has emulated Christ’s sacrifice for the ekklesia (called out ones) regularly for over three decades.

There are countless other Christian men who have laid down their lives and self-interests for the benefit of their wives and families.  They are lights in this nation, lights of a representation of Christ and His love for His people.  They don’t carry signs around and demonstrate.  They don’t bang the drums of social justice, or make dramatic statements and actions of political or social sentiment.  They just walk it out.  They’re too busy working, toiling, sacrificing for those they love.  They don’t have the time or even the interest to make dramatic political statements.  Oh they’ll rise up in defense of their loved ones, but they don’t need to answer every assault on their honor because their honor speaks for itself.

Personally I think it’s a large part why America hasn’t fallen already.  The men and women of honor who LIVE the Gospel rather than talk about it, or waste time arguing with those who mock it, have been lights in growing darkness.  Is it any wonder masculinity has been assaulted, or the family unit continues to be attacked and attempted to be redefined?  A godless society cannot stand an illustration of God’s design and order.  They must destroy it at all costs, and they have been trying to.  Gratefully there are men and women who have not succumbed, but have stood in deference to their King in the face of His enemies.

Here’s to the men and women who have maintained the example of Christ in this nation.  God bless each and every one of you.
