PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE RON PAUL AN ANOMALY

Salem Radio Network talk show host, Dennis Prager says Ron Paul is an anomaly and “I have no affection for Ron Paul’s views” and admits his opinion is well known. However, if Ron Paul is an anomaly, please dear God, give us more Constitutional oath keepers like him in Washington, D.C. in 2012 for short of divine intervention, I fear this year is our last hope to salvage our Republic. The last Constitutional grade that I saw on Congressman Ron Paul was 100%. Paul aligns with our Founders who knew we created beings are flawed so we need restraints. God gave us the 10 commandments for the same reason. While God also gave us “free will,” disobedience always causes problems and stepping out from the umbrella of Constitutional protections, has caused severe financial problems. James Madison wrote in The Federalist, No. 51:

But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government t o control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself. A dependence on people is, no doubt, the primary control on the government; but experience has taught mankind the necessity of auxiliary precautions.

Prager admits up until this presidential campaign, he took very little notice of Ron Paul but now he and his radio talk show buddies have waged an all out attack on Paul – some meaner than others who prefer not to even mention Paul’s name if they can avoid it. This generally mellow and seemingly passionate man comes unglued when he speaks of Congressman Paul, whom he called a sickening liar and a radical lefty and accuses him of maligning America with what he perceived as Paul’s racist remark about the inequities in the judicial system.

This isn’t the first time some so-called a conservative talk show host has attacked a candidate who would honor his oath of office. Michael Medved, another Salem Radio Network (SRN) talk show host who originates out of the liberal Seattle, Washington area, in 2004 had as his guest Constitutional Party candidate for president, Michael Anthony Peroutka, that he kicked around, interrupted and harassed for a segment or more. His chosen Vice President was Chuck Baldwin, a frequent contributor to NewsWithViews.

According to its website, SRN is Number 1 for Christian and conservative views with over 190 hours of daily original programming and one of the fastest growing full-service radio networks in the U.S. with more than 2,000 radio stations, so why all the negativity from these so-called conservatives about a principled candidate like Ron Paul? Rush Limbaugh tends to be mean spirited too. Rush, America’s gift to broadcasting, according to him anyway, helped President Clinton and the GOP controlled House under the leadership of House Speaker, Newt Gingrich, enact the North American Free Trade (NAFTA) in the mid 90’s and I haven’t heard one word about NAFTA in the debates.

These talk show pundits don’t like Ron Paul’s foreign policies and they seem eager to go to war at the drop of the hat. Of course, Paul is the only candidate still in the running that has military service and gets more contributions from the military than any of the remaining three candidates. Paul doesn’t allow the Washington crowd or the SRN prideful twits to affect him one way or the other. He stays on course like a good captain of a ship. Obadiah, the shortest book in the Bible, says in V. 3 that people with prideful hearts are open to deception.

The SRN website notes the leading conservative talk show hosts are Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Hugh Hewitt, Michael Medved & Dennis Prager. They had a contest during the holidays to see who could raise the most cash for the “Red Kettles”/Salvation Army. Bennett, who originates out of the east coast and comes on our local radio station on the west coast from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m., so I rarely listen to him. He is the founding director of Catholic Campaign for America and wrote the book of VIRTUES. Cathy O’Brien and Mark Phillips in their 1995 book TRANCEFORMATION OF AMERICA said Mr. “Virtue” Bennett was a frequent guest at the Bohemian Grove, where Oregon’s recently deceased “Saint” Mark once attended. We seem to have great numbers of those “Holier Than Thou” types in the Republican Party. They’ll support Newt Gingrich if he becomes the nominee but they never commit to voting for Ron Paul.

In a January 1998 David Wilkerson newsletter he tells the story about his Nazarene minister grandfather who kept a little pair of gold scissors in his pocket and whenever some woman came to the altar and bowed her head and had feathers in her hat, he would snip off any feathers! Yet his grandfather chewed tobacco, because there was no “holiness prohibition” against it. He even kept a spittoon near him on the pulpit so he could chew while he preached – all while preaching against women who wore lipstick! And these SRN types nitpick about Ron Paul who thus far has had no scandals and has a plan to get America back on track?

After all these years listening to the foofaraw of these conservatives with a microphone in front of them, I have finally come to the conclusion the “mutual admiration society,” which includes FOX cable, are making a living bashing the Democrats and visa versa on the liberal stations. They write books and promote them on each other’s programs. Prager’s latest book is entitled AMERICA IS STILL THE BEST HOPE. We could nearly go broke buying them all! It’s a well-oiled racket and listeners are having their eyes opened to these deceivers since Ron Paul became a candidate. Is this possibly a reason why they are so against him? If our country got back on track, they’d have nothing to complain about. What say ye?

Yes, America WAS the best hope when it still recognized creator God in her schools and government but gradually subtle changes took place and America is in a downhill slide. We became arrogant and prideful. All we have to do is watch the trash on T.V. and we don’t even blush any more. And Prager thinks God will continue blessing such disobedience? A college professor tells about a young man in her class that was given the responsibility of dispensing a year’s supply of university-provided (your tax dollars at work) “morning after abortion pills” to students under his supervision. His entire supply of these emergency pills had been distributed to students in his dorm the very first weekend of classes in September. Ya, Prager, God is going to continue blessing America only in his dreams!

Our Constitution has been under attack since Lincoln. And we have to ask ourselves, “Oh, say does that Star Spangled Banner Yet Wave?” If we have a Godly man at the helm, we are safe but in our Republic, elections change the names at the White House and without knowledgeable, wise people in the Senate and House of Representatives to offer checks and balances, the person in the White House could be another Adolf Hitler. When the German Weimar Republic banned personal firearms possession citizens trusted their government to hold a monopoly on force. And Weimar officials never violated that trust. But eventually the foolish German people elected a man named Adolf Hitler who set fire to the Reichstag and blamed the Communists. In Robert Payne’s 1973 book THE LIFE AND DEATH OF ADOLF HITLER, he writes at 9 p.m. on February 27, 1933, the dome of the Reichstag, the parliament building in the center of Berlin, began to glow as though lit by searchlights.

Those who wish to disarm America have been chipping away at the Second Amendment for years. In his 1966 book THE POLITICS OF SURRENDER by M. Stanton Evans he writes about the Disarmament Agency extending aid to the Soviet Union was already the official policy of the American government. Way back then, in the interest of “peace,” our government was aiding the global Communists in a large number of other ways. On March 31, 2011 Mikhail Gorbachev was honored at a birthday bash extravaganza featuring billionaires, royalty, politicians and celebrities. His worshipers see him as the only “Man Who Saved the World.” Someone sent me a picture of a train on the tracks near Santa Cruz, California. The video ran two minutes and 45 seconds showing perhaps 100 cars loaded with military equipment . Later it was shown in Oregon. The caption at the top of the video asked, “Are we going to war?” Google: Do We Have Foreign Troops on U.S. soil? Portland, Oregon’s emergency alert test system failed again recently. And we know the feds have a system they, too, have been testing. Something is fishy on the horizon?

Why does Ron Paul stay in the race? The real power is in the delegates that hopefully he is accumulating along the way. All the fluff and media coverage of these early primaries is entertainment. Paul and his supporters remember well how they were forcibly ejected from the GOP National Convention in 2008. The number of delegates needed to win nomination at the GOP convention was 1,144. Ron Paul vaulted into second place this time despite hostility from mainstream Republicans and an initial blackout by the mainstream media.

And don’t count New York businessman, Donald Trump out. He said on the January 27 Sean Hannity show where he was given more free time that he is under contract until May with his APPRENTICE show. He’s written a book TIME TO GET TOUGH where he’s already disclosed his personal assets and says he’s not ashamed of his success, nor should Romney be ashamed, and Mr. Tough guy would love to debate President Obama. He hinted on the program about Obama’s birth certificate and the lack of college transcripts and said Obama is laughing at how stupid we are to let him get away with this act.

Prager basks in the praises the sheep in his radio audience bestow upon him for his all-knowing and authoritative grasp of nearly every subject imaginable. After he denigrated Ron Paul, he finally said whatever our passion is for our candidate, we can’t do what the left has done to us and that is to demonize our opponents. He admits Ron is a unique phenomenon but voters should direct their interest to the three similar types.

Paul’s views don’t sit well with the Xeroxed Republicans and Democrats who think they have a lock on the electoral system and independent thinkers have long ago recognized the two-party system was a scam, it’s an oligarchy – a monopoly. The GOP simply takes the U.S. into the new world order a little slower than the Democrats who are in a hurry. Globalism is their game and they are suspicious of those who would dare put America first.

The real power is those delegates at the upcoming GOP convention. The two-party system is a distraction, a sideshow designed to grab and keep our attention by producing a lot of “heated” debate, arguments and political attacks while accomplishing very little. Neither party is serious about finding solutions. George Washington feared the corrupting influence of political parties with their spirit of factional selfishness and the weakening of the influence of religious morality on public life. On both counts, he was right. The Democrats and Republicans have betrayed us. They have abandoned the ideas and principles upon which our country was founded and sought instead the lure of money and power. One is a clone to the other and the lesser of two evils is still evil.
