Democracy vs Republic
For well over a hundred years our politicians, statesmen, and people remembered that this was a republic, not a democracy, and knew what they meant when they made that distinction. Again, let’s look briefly at some of the evidence. Washington, in his first inaugural address, dedicated himself to the “preservation…of the republican model of government.” Thomas Jefferson, our third President, was the founder of the Democratic Third Party, but in his first inaugural address, although he referred several times to the Republic or the Republican form of government, he did not use the word “democracy” a single time. And John Marshall who was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court from 1801 to 1835, said “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the different is like that between order and chaos.”
In the 1946 book by Leland Stowe, WHILE TIME REMAINS, he asked “What Do We Mean, Democracy?” He wrote, “We gained democracy. There is no doubt whether it is fit to survive. It is the issue of human rights against property rights” – between order and chaos.
It should be noted that by 1912, Democrat President Woodrow Wilson stated, “This country is no longer a Republic, but is now a Democracy.” Of course, he should know. He was one of the first to ignore the Constitution. And then Democrat FDR came along with his United Nations New Deal creating even more agencies to regulate and control the citizens. Democracies demand a strong executive and we’ve seen how President Obama uses his executive orders to circumvent Congress and the administrators in the unconstitutional agencies such as I.R.S. to harass and quiet any protests. Dumbed down elected officials and far too many voters who have come through the government’s propaganda centers called public schools system where civics is no longer taught or emphasized have no idea about the difference between a Republic and a democracy that leads unintentionally to imperialism and imperialism inevitably ends in destroying the republican institutions of earlier days established by church leaders and ends in a voluntary surrender of a free people escaping from freedom to one autocratic master.
BRING ON THE MUCKRAKERS
So what happened. Maybe I’ve found the answer in this 1962 book by E. Merrill Root entitled BRAIN WASHING IN THE HIGH SCHOOLS – an examination of Eleven American History Textbooks shows a definite anti-American bias. He studied the textbooks in at least one school district – Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois. The Superintendent of that school, Dr. Lloyd S. Michael, informed Root that, in various history courses of the school, nine of these texts “were adopted for the school year 1950-51.” Democracy has put its faith in education and historians have distorted our Constitutional Republic with Communist “democracy.”
Then we have John Dewey, the prolific author and pragmatist philosopher who is often called the “father of modern education.” His influence in today’s classrooms in the early part of the 20th century can hardly be overstated. “The idea of democracy, the ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity, represent a society in which the distinction between the spiritual and the secular has ceased…The divine and the human organization of society are one.” A socialist and a signer of the “Humanist Manifesto,” Dewey believed religion stood in the way of intellectual and social progress. He praised fellow socialist Edward Bellamy for his “religious faith in the democratic ideal.”
In chapter 11 on anti-communism in the Brainwashing book, the revisionists poke fun at the so-called Soviet espionage and infiltration warnings. In all these history textbooks, every attempt of the American people to meet infiltration and subversion of the communist conspiracy is misinterpreted, attacked, ridiculed or ignored. Many older readers will remember Senator Joe McCarthy who had been outspokenly anti-communist during his entire political career. The evidence was so obvious about how the communists had infiltrated many liberal causes, education and the unions but the media, which was suppose to honestly report these findings, instead looked away while crying McCarthyism.
SAN FRANCISCO REFUSES SERVICES FOR COMMUNISTS
It wasn’t very many years ago that businesses had signs on their doors, “No Shoes, No Shirts, No Service.” The sign was obvious to anyone with common sense but sexual orientation is not so obvious. So why all the current foofaraw over same-sex marriage and the Indiana ”Religious Freedom” law which only allows people to practice their Christian faith? I’m continually fascinated about how everyone is suppose to be tolerant of same-sex marriages when this same crowd is so intolerant of the Christians who refuse to accept it.
San Francisco became involved in the peculiar (aka queer) politics of the 1950s. In 1949 the Palace Hotel in San Francisco canceled a scheduled banquet of the Civil Rights Congress which had planned to raise funds for eleven Communist leaders jailed in New York. “We simply canceled the banquet,” Edmund Rieder, the general manager , said. “The character of the organization is not the type we care to have at the Palace.
WHY WE’VE BEEN LOSING TO THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT
Two years later (1951) Senator Joseph McCarthy spoke in his rasping voice in the Palm Court: “Anyone who can add two and two must conclude that unless the course changes, in eight to ten years communism will have created a red world. There can only be two reasons why we are losing; either because of fumbling, stumbling idiocy, or “-he paused, and his voice dropped- “or because it was planned that way.  In the next paragraph we read that Dr. Robert Oppenheimer, the head of Princeton’s University Institute of Advanced Studies, was stripped of his security clearance and denied access to the facilities necessary to do his work because of his association with communists. TIME reported on May 5, 1958 that Oppenheimer, the “father of the H-bomb” was fired by President Eisenhower in 1954 as a “security risk” and because of “fundamental defects in his character.” The homosexuals hijacked the Civil Rights movement much to the dismay of blacks and while the “Code of Ethics” of the Society of Professional Journalists say the media should “avoid conflicts of interest, real or perceived,” in the issue of homosexual rights, the media, from the left to the right have taken a side and this includes FOX.
The communists have pretty much accomplished their 45 goals. Number 20 goal: Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions. Number 17: Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks with the help of the Muckrakers.
While there were a number of different named revisionists who became known as the “Muckrakers,” several texts laud the Steffens AUTOBIOGRAPHY and several said it was “One of the great books on American life produced in the last forty years.” And still several others said Steffens was “a brilliant journalist” and a full page portrait of him was shown.
In none of these High School required-reading textbooks are we told that Lincoln Steffens, this “dean of the Muckrakers,” in his progressive fervor once sent an appeal to the American Communist Party believing that Communism was the only American party that met Capitalism head on. He saw Big Business as the current name of the devil and the Republican Party the villain, an ally of “Big Business” and the servant of Mammon but now the sodomites suddenly love Big Business for stepping forward and taking a stand on behalf of same-sex marriage. What hypocrites. Steffen, in his acclaimed AUTOBIOGRAPHY, praised Anna Louise Strong’s ”progress from our old Christian-Greek culture to the communist culture which will prevail for the next two thousand years.” Now you know how these “muckrakers” are pulling off this socialist/communist agenda. A very small number of well organized left-wing groups using new technology use fear and intimidation.
LITERACY WAS HIGHER BEFORE COMPULSORY EDUCATION
Samuel Blumenfeld notes in his 1981 book IS PUBLIC EDUCATION NECESSARY that public education was never needed and that literacy in America was higher before compulsory public education than it is today; that socialists, who were very active in the public school movement, began operating covertly in secret cells in America as early as 1829, before the word “socialism” was even invented. Let’s be honest, totalitarian governments have long considered public education as their most important tool for indoctrinating and controlling the young. Public educators are not freedom fighters. While entering the profession with only the purest of intentions, with the help of their unions, they are more likely to be the loyal servants of the political masters. It is all about job security and students as guinea pigs.
WEATHER UNDERGROUND BOMBERS GO INTO EDUCATION
Domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, a former member of the Weather Underground and friend of Barack Obama, embarked on a quest to radicalize America by working within rather than outside of the nation’s mainstream institutions. www.newswithviews.com/Kincaid/cliff455.htm Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn got off from all the bombings they did due to an “Improper surveillance technicality.” In particular Ayers sought to embed himself in a position of influence within the education establishment and in 1984 Ayers earned a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Three years later he received a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Columbia University teachers College. In March 2008 Ayers was elected by a large majority of his peers as Vice President for Curriculum studies at the American Education Research Association (AERA) putting him in a position to exert great influence over what is taught in America’s teacher-training colleges and in public schools. Specifically, Ayers seeks to inculcate teachers-in-training with a “social commitment” to the values of “Marx” and with a desire to become agents of social change in K-12 classrooms. “Whereas Capitalism promotes racism and militarism,” Ayers explains, “teaching invites transformations” and is “the motor-force of revolution.” While collecting a regular paycheck from America, he still sees America as “the main source of the world’s racism and oppression.”
Bryan Burrough, author of the book DAYS OF RAGE, a guest on the FOX Kelly File (3/30) indicated eight or nine of the Weather Underground went into education after six years of bombings including Ronald David Liegelman, the “bomb guru” who has been teaching in New York Public Schools.
WEAPONS OF MASS INSTRUCTION
John Taylor Gatto, in his 2010 book WEAPONS OF MASS INSTRUCTION, was named both New York City and New York State teacher of the year, wrote, “It should be no secret to you that institutional schooling, with all its outriggers, is the principal employer in the U.S. and as such a formidable granter of contracts that even the Defense Department (a similar jobs project) can’t keep up.” Now we have some of the world’s largest and most powerful corporations and business associations succumbing to left-wing fear mongering supporting same-sex marriage. Yup! Those “Big Busineses” that the Muckrackers so willingly demonized.
INFILTRATE CHURCHES – DISCREDIT THE BIBLE
It was Christian leaders such as Martin Luther, followed by the Calvinists, who introduced public education into society and in the end, number 27 of the Communist goals said: Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch” but perhaps the last chapter hasn’t been written. Maybe they are wrong.
AND NOW A FEW CURRENT EVENTS
Readers should check out the March 31, 2015 New York Daily News about former Arizona CEO, Adam Smith who took a stance against Chick-Fil-A’s support of same-sex marriage, lost a $200,000 a year job and now with his family lives in a RV on food stamps. And then there is the Common Core assignment in 10th grade history books in Seminole County, Florida that FORCES students to make Islamic Prayer Rugs and recite Muslim prayers.
VAST SUMS OF MONEY TO SACROSANCT INSTITUTIONS
Blumenfeld says along with the fast sums of money, sacrosanct institutions of learning, and an army of professionals make up this formidable educational establishment. Supporting it is an interlocking network of professional organizations and publications, which tend to create an even more closed environment, with its special language developed for the benefit of those who manage and run the establishment and don’t you believe the teacher unions when they say they are representing the students. Blumenfeld says every September a new generation of American children are fed into this crippling process, and American parents are at a loss to understand why the young adults emerging at the end are the way they are. The school building looks fine from the outside, but parents are only vaguely aware of what goes on inside.
During teachers’ week on Jeopardy in February 2015, a category on Math found them lacking. In fact, when they went to the Double Jeopardy, Alex Trebek laughed and said no questions about Math and one teacher sighed with relief. Perhaps in place of Math, they were being introduced to “death education.” In 1990 ABC’s 20/20 showed how high school students were taken to morgues to touch dead bodies thereby desensitizing them to death. Or maybe they were being taught sex education in kindergarten where the kids learn they can make “gender choices” and suddenly little Johnny tells his parents he wants to become Jane. In the 1990s Conflict Resolution began to appear. Again, it was under a Republican – President Richard Nixon in 1969 that that government became involved in developing children during “the first five years of life…”
THE PUBLIC EDUCATION MONOPOLY IS THE PRINCIPLE EMPLOYER IN THE U.S.
Before compulsory school attendance laws were enacted, parents did indeed have the right to educate their own kids. Did they willingly and knowingly give it up? Today they can home school but are strictly regulated but earlier pioneers in the movement ended up in prison or children taken from them. If you take into consideration the thousands of school districts operating today and the thousands – maybe millions more of teachers (aka change agents) and administrators and others in that environment, then you’ll recognize educational tyranny is the natural and inevitable result of a government schools controlled by this monopoly.
