The last two presidential elections proved two things; how to win an election by unifying and how to lose an election by not participating. I remember during the 2008 campaign that many were not happy with Obama being the nominee. It was obvious that there was a strong divide in the Democrat Party as it went all the way to the convention with both candidates fighting every inch of the way. But after the convention the Democrat Party, for the most part got behind their candidate and supported him to victory in November of 2008.
The Republicans on the other and was a different story. There was chaos up to the convention and disunity afterwards. The Republicans have never elected a moderate candidate yet they nominated John McCain, a war veteran and survivor of the Hanoi Hilton but McCain spends too much time on the other side of the isle. Over the next eight years McCain snatched victory from the jaws of defeat several times keeping the American people and businesses under the thumb of a growing bureaucracy. Many people didn’t like McCain and refused to vote because of that. In that election, as in most, a non vote is a vote for the greater of two evils.
During the first four years of the Obama administration we saw government spending literally skyrocket. Obama spent more money in his first year as president than all 43 presidents before him combined even though he ran his campaign on cutting spending. He even stated that if he didn’t cut government spending that he would not have a second term. When he came into office we had an $8 trillion deficit, we are now at $19 trillion and will be $20 trillion by the time Obama leaves office.
One thing that most voters pay no attention to is the character of the candidate. When looking at Obama all of his associates are supporters of Saul Alinsky a radial Marxist, socialist supporter. Clinton wrote her college thesis on Alinsky and is also a major supporter of his philosophy. Obama stated that he supported one man one woman marriage but most of the people that he associates with supported same sex unions. And as we all know at the end of his first term he came out in support for same sex marriage, as did Hillary. I saw a lot of character flaws in McCain as well but he didn’t step over the line at that time concerning these highly contested moral issues. Our nation was made strong by men and women who held to high moral standards not men and women who thumb their noses morality and godly principles.
We have seen America be subjugated to forced acceptance via the courts of same sex marriage, abortion on demand for any reason even up to the time of birth. We have seen for the first time in Americas history our credit rating cut from AAA to AA because of the uncontrolled spending of the elites of BOTH parties in Washington. We have seen, under the Obama administration, our veterans and patriots be treated like criminals simply because they require our government to operate according to the Constitution of the United States. We have seen over the last thirty years BOTH parties thumb their noses at the American people when we demanded that something be done about our open border. Hundreds of thousands of illegals cross our southern border every year taxing the American people to the max with welfare, healthcare, and the jobs they take from the American worker.
The political party that demands that we continue to allow all of this to continue, the Democrats, have shown that they have no regard for the welfare of the American people and the American dream. Their only concern is their power and control over the masses. Hillary will continue that march towards dictatorship. She has promised the closing of coal plants and unemployment for those miners. She has promised to ‘shut down the NRA’ over mass shootings even though no NRA member has ever been involved in a mass shooting, only registered Democrats. She has promised to step up the immigration of muslims into America, unvetted, even though we are seeing in Europe how muslim ‘refugees’ treat the host countries. France, Germany, Norway and Sweden ALL experience an exponential rise in violent crimes especially rape. When our federal government is responsible for the safety of the American people this is not the action that should be allowed.
Obama’s second term has brought chaos to the streets of America. He refuses to even say the term ‘radical islam’, blames guns for the murderous political ideology of islam and embraces a radical group endorsed by the muslim brotherhood, Black Lives Matter, even though they are intent on and demand the deaths of all white people especially cops. The big question here is how did a man with nothing more than a community organizers experience get elected to the highest office in the land? Twice! That is simple. The candidate that ran against him in 2008 did not have the guts to expose Obama’s inexperience and extreme leftist ideologies and in 2012 a Morman ran against him and out of 55 million registered evangelical republican voters less than 15 million voted because they wouldn’t vote for a Morman. They used the pathetic excuse of not willing to vote for the lesser of two evils. These people are not smart enough to even realize that we have never had anything BUT the lesser of two evils to vote for, ever! Obama only won by 5.6 million votes, mostly via voter fraud but had half the evangelicals had voted we wouldn’t be in the mess we are today.
Now the Republican Party has a candidate that has addressed the real concerns of the American people that both parties has refused to address for the last thirty years and has woken a part of the electorate that has, for the most part, given up on our political system and the party elites have done all they to get him out of the race. It seems that everything they do to discredit him only pushes him higher in the polls. The last time I saw this was during the 1980 campaign when Reagan won the nomination. So many Christians use the excuse of ‘I don’t know what he’ll do as president’ for opposing him. Well, we know what Hillary will do. She’ll put in the most liberal judges she can find on the Supreme Court, she’ll do all she can to nullify the 2nd Amendment, she’ll increase muslim immigration by 550% as she has promised, she’ll continue to push same sex ‘marriage’, abortion on demand and everything else Obama has pushed for the last 8 years.
When you look at Trump I believe that he will do what he says he will do. His business record attests to that. Look at his family. All are successful and speak highly of him. I have yet to hear of a business partner say anything negative about him. They all say he is fair in his dealings and that he does what he says he will do. That can never be said about Hillary under any circumstance.
Despite what some say, a non vote will be a vote for Hillary and a continuance of what we have seen under Obama, high unemployment, more and more regulations, rising costs and government spending that will bankrupt America. Is Trump the best man for the job? Between him and Hillary a blind person can see that he will be better. Is he perfect? No! But neither was David, Paul, Moses, Noah, Peter and all the rest of the disciples and most of the great men of God through the ages. We will never have perfect until Jesus returns. But I believe that Trump is the right man for the times we are in just like David was, just like Saul who became Paul was. God can use anyone with a willing heart. If He can use you or me, He can use Donald Trump.
With this being the most important election in the last 100 years we must take our responsibilities as a citizen of this great country seriously and vote even if it is for the lesser of two evils. Our future is on the line, our kids future is on the line, America’s future is on the line.
