Our Lord and Savior said, “if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” Mark 3:24-25
The divisions in our land are increasingly palpable. Consider last Sunday’s NFL line up. Someone has counted the number of players that took the knee in disrespect for our National Anthem. Every NFL game that day had some demonstration by players, some in which whole teams refused to be on the field for the National Anthem; claiming somehow Francis Scott Key and the poem he wrote were racist! That can only mean that their ignorance of the English language is so great they cannot read the words or make any sense of what those words mean.
I guess that is why they earn multimillion dollar salaries chasing around a pig’s intestine full of air. And by the way, if they claim they have earned their salaries legitimately, they lie and do not tell the truth. In fact, the entire NFL has its nose fully engorged in the public pork trough. Since “1999… taxpayers at all levels of government have foot the bill for football stadiums to the tune of an estimated $1 billion every year.” This constitutes a “massive redistribution of taxes from working people to the gridiron’s spoiled 1-percenters…. Sports economists have concluded repeatedly that the effects of stadium subsidies on employment and economic activity are negligible–or even negative… 83 percent of the economists surveyed agreed that ‘Providing state and local subsidies to build stadiums for professional sports teams is likely to cost the relevant taxpayers more than any local economic benefits that are generated.’” www.vdare.com

So while the NFL is engaged in legalized plunder, it turns and spits on the people and the country that has made them enormously wealthy. Now before America shows these thieves the back door, we should insist on reparations. All the legalized plunder the NFL as stolen from America should be taken from these thieves. Click here for a spreadsheet with details. For starters, the Ravens here in Baltimore stole $203 million to build the stadium. That doesn’t even begin to consider the very real costs to the public for running the stadium on game days, nor does that even begin to include the value of land grants and tax breaks that all levels of civil government has given to the Ravens. Perhaps we should freeze all the assets of the players and owners till they pay us back in full.
The great divide in America we are told by the purported narrative, is all rooted in the issue of slavery which goes right back to the earliest days of our country. And the slavery issue has been brought up in the campaign of our good friend Chief Justice Roy Moore. His victory this Tuesday stunned the Establishment Republicans in Washington, resulting in some announcing they would not run for reelection and some in the House calling for the retirement of the Senate President.
One of the numerous attacks from the leftist media (an apparent tautology in our day, for to say leftist is nearly the same as saying media) against Chief Justice Roy Moore is that his defense of God’s Law given to us in the Bible meant he supported slavery. The Judge gave the Washington Post propagandist a brief answer that was good, but we need to delve into the matter further. What does the Word of God actually say about slavery? Does the Bible support slavery? Turn to Philemon, for there it is where we find that not only does the Bible condemn slavery, we also find that it does not promote ending slavery by violent revolution nor by bloodshed through warfare.
