In a contest of any kind, somebody wins, somebody loses, somebody celebrates, and somebody cries. Ironically, during an NFL football game, each team tries to smash the heck out of its opponents. But at the end of the game, most of the players talk to their opponents and even hug them while laughing. The two coaches shake hands, say a few words, and go on their way.

But not in politics! Of course, nothing is reasonable or rational in politics. If you listen to Joy Reid on MSNBC, every American who voted for Trump is a misogynist, racist, xenophobe, trans hater, woman hater, unfair, unhappy and disgusting. According to all the girls on “The View”, half country lost its mind or doesn’t have a mind, or portrays the worst of America. The Woke crowd started screaming after “News Nation” called Trump the winner of the presidential sweepstakes. Even Van Jones said that his democrats were stupid in the way they didn’t address what was happening to America. “It was the border, stupid,” one pundit said.

My minister on Sunday morning said, “Well, on the political front, the republicans are happy, the democrats are shocked, and the independents are yawning. But in the end, we’re all Americans and we live in an amazing country where free speech, free choice and personal freedoms are guaranteed by our Constitution. We are lucky beyond anyone’s imagination to be Americans.” He received a standing ovation. Later, he asked all of us veterans to stand when the music was played for the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. We all received a standing ovation. I saluted the congregation through my own tears.

Because no matter how you cut it, our Armed Forces provide us with our freedoms. Every man and woman to serve America, in life and death, gave all of us the precious gift of freedom.

Kamala Harris will become a footnote in the history books. Donald J. Trump will fill a few pages. In the end, it’s we, the American people, and our precious lives, who benefit from the Founding Fathers’ genius. It’s those men and women at Valley Forge who made it possible. It’s those men in WWI, WWII that gave Europe its freedoms. Ultimately, it’s our Constitution that has been the foundation for free countries around the world. Yes, you still have Putin in Russia, Ung in North Korea, and Ping in China, and the dictator in Iran—-but across the globe, many people enjoy freedom from the concept of democracy.

At the same time, without a doubt, America bumps and grinds along with its warts and boils.

Kamala lost because of inflation, illegal immigration, and Harris’ focus on transgender issues, the next three factors named by all voters were that debt rose too high under the Biden–Harris administration, that Harris is too similar to President Joe Biden, and that Harris would let in millions more illegal aliens. One choice that scored high among swing state voters was that “Democrats did a bad job running the country.”

“In the end, Harris couldn’t outrun her past or her party—perhaps it was a lack of time, but it was certainly a vice grip that proved impossible to escape,” the polling report’s authors wrote.

Another said, “Kamala flat didn’t know what the hell she was doing. She couldn’t lead her way out of a paper bag.”

But then you see the political cartoons that told the story!

The “Trump Effect” – 72 hours after winning the 2024 Election:

♦ First female Chief of Staff appointed
♦ EENYC to stop giving debit cards to illegals
♦ US companies bring production home
♦ Stock market hitting all-time-highs
♦ Bitcoin hitting all-time-highs
♦ Newest migrant caravan breaking-up Qatar agrees to evict Hamas leaders
♦ Hamas wants “immediate” end to war Taliban claims to want “new chapter” China wants “peaceful coexistence”
♦ Russia is “ready” to speak with the US TEU wants to buy US gas, not
♦ Russian gas Ukraine leaders in talks with Trump/Elon

Picture showing Trump making French Fries at McDonald’s, “Yeah, this is going to be my last shift. I got my old job back last night.”

Picture showing Nancy Pelosi, 84, crying, “Well, good morning…well, this is not a good morning, but it’s here.”

A baby sleeping in her crib, “How you sleep—-knowing you won’t have to hear that cackle for four more years.”

Picture of the Harris-Walz bus careening over a cliff, “Maybe we should have veered to the Right a little more.”

I shopped at Barnes & Noble last night to ask the clerk, “Do you have the new book out on how Trump is going to deport all those illegal aliens?” She fired back, “Get the F*** out of here and don’t come back.” I said, “Yes, that’s the book. Do you have it in paperback?”

Then, a picture of Forrest Gump on a bench, “And just like that…the cackling stopped.”

The loudest sound on Earth, “Those screaming with Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Picture of the Rachel Levine, a biological man who is fat, wears dresses, and is head of Health and Human Services, “I am an expert on mental health and food disorders.” Only in America!

Picture of House member Adam Schiff, a citizen said, “If people can go to prison for lying to Congress, shouldn’t Adam Schiff go to prison for lying to the American people?” (i.e. Russia Gate Hoax)

Picture of 15 million illegal aliens storming America’s borders, “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Deport all 30 million illegals and taxpayers won’t have to feed them again.” (Costs range over $150 billion annually for food, housing, schools and medical care)

As we approach Veteran’s Day, my hat’s off to every American who served. My hats off to my grandfather Jesse Ward Johnson who served in WWI, to my father Marine M/Sgt Howard Wooldridge, my brother Scott Navy, my brother John Air Force and Army, and to all my old Army buddies who made it through Vietnam. God bless you, and God bless America.
