A modern tale of two cities—Kiev, Ukraine; and Palestine, OH — raises the question: In 2023, have American citizens  become First? Or, Last?

First, the current American President, Democrat Joe Biden, with great media fanfare, has flown to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.  In a staged appearance with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy — which included faked air raid sirens blaring as cameras rolled without any air raid — Biden announced to the world that America, which has already given the Ukraine government over $100-Billion in aid, will provide the Ukraine with another $100-Billion. Further, Biden pledged America will continue to provide more aid “as needed” and as “long as it takes” for the Ukraine to defeat Russia in the war over their common border.

After Biden’s announcement, members of his cabinet and the federal bureaucracy also appeared in the Ukraine to affirm, publicly, covered by the media,  Biden’s pledge of more billions to the Ukraine —without an audit of how the funds are used—for “as long as it takes.”

This financial aid without limits, without duration, and without  accounting, includes American taxpayers  — many of whom have no pensions — paying the salaries and pensions of Ukrainian politicians holding office, and Ukrainians employed in the Ukrainian bureaucracy, or on pensions from government positions, for “as long as it takes.”

Meanwhile, in America, disaster struck the small, blue-collar city of Palestine , OH, when a railroad train de-railing released unknown quantities of toxic chemicals, which were then deliberately set on fire to burn off the dangerous chemicals.

Palestine, OH, unlike the Ukrainian capital in Kiev,  is a small city of some 5,000, mostly “blue collar” Americans. It is a very poor city, its former industry having left the area some time ago and moved on. Their water, and their land, have been polluted with toxic chemicals related in the train wreck.  It is unknown how much danger is presented, and whether there will be long term effects which may not be known for years. They fear, most of all, for their children.

Those 5,000 or so basically blue collar, basically white,  Americans, from the very moment of that rail disaster, have been in desperate need of Federal Government help, as they were enveloped by air and water contamination from the fires. They are one of the many small American villages, towns, and cities that have only a “volunteer” Fire Department. They also do not have the resources to know what the dangers were and are of the toxic chemicals released by the train wreck, and the burn-off. Many if not most do not have the financial ability to move elsewhere.

But they, the Americans of Palestine, OH, found themselves treated like an irritating nuisance by the Federal Government in the Biden regime. President Joe Biden, who flew tens of thousands of miles to strut before the cameras with Zelensky in Ukraine,   did not take action to assist the people of Palestine, let alone travel the relatively short distance to make an appearance in Palestine to help them, provide assurances to them, and evidence concern and determination to stand by them in this disaster.

FEMA, the federal agency to assist Americans in disasters, told the city leaders that Palestine “did not qualify” for FEMA assistance. Although Biden now claims that his Environmental Protection Agency acted within “two hours” to contact the people in Palestine, in fact, the EPA, FEMA, and the Federal bureaucracy, provided almost no help— until former President Donald J. Trump announced he would be going to Palestine to help as he could.

Until President Trump acted, no Biden regime cabinet members or Department leaders,  acted to go to Palestine to help. Only when President Trump acted, did the Federal political office holders, appointees, and bureaucrats, announce that, oh, yes, they were going to help Palestine. FEMA, after some two weeks of claiming the city didn’t qualify for help, and doing nothing, suddenly found, after President Trump’s announcement of his intent to go to Palestine, that the City did qualify.

Thus, we have a tale of two cities: The city in Ukraine, Kiev, which now has a guarantee of unlimited funding by American taxpayers for “as long as it takes,”  from a President who personally traveled to the Ukraine to grandstand as he dispensed American taxpayer funds in the billions with no accounting; and the other city, the American city, of Palestine, OH, treated like an annoying nuisance.

It is a disgusting tale of “America last”  in this era of progressive  liberal elitists in Washington, DC, who hold working class, white, blue collar Americans, in contempt.

Americans need to rise up to demand that Americans come first, not last. Americans should and must  demand that not another dollar should go to the Ukraine without an accounting of every dime flowing to that nation—which has long been regarded as the “third most corrupt country in the world.”

Further, it is utter farce — manifest liberal political  and intellectual flatulence — for Biden, and the politicians and media who profit from propagandizing for him, to assert that  American taxpayers  must provide unlimited funds for “as long it takes” to the Ukraine, without any accounting —  in order to “defend democracy.”

The Ukraine, under Zelensky, the former actor and comedian who will play any role if it makes money for himself and the other Ukrainian elite,   is the farthest thing from a democracy.

Among other things, the Zelensky government in the Ukraine has now outlawed all other political parties. Zelensky has shut down all media the government does not control. Zelensky has outlawed the ancient Russian Orthodox Church— and Zelensky, who is Jewish, is actually arresting Christian Priests and Nuns.

That is the “democracy” of Ukraine under Zelensky, which Washington, D.C., under the present Biden regime is causing American taxpayers to fund “for as long as it takes.” It is not defense of “democracy.” It is a disgrace.
