Testified on a variety of issues before several state legislature’s policy committees.
Former panelist on the New England College Admissions Director’s committee on acceptance of homeschool graduates.
Invited Speaker at the Western Connecticut State University School Based Mental Health Conference.
Initiated joint venture with Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut to publish, for the first time in the state’s history, a pocket version of the Connecticut Constitution and distributed it to every member of the three branches of the state’s government, and members of the public.
Served as Legal Counsel for various community and non-profit organizations, including Connecticut Homeschool Network, Inc.; We the People of Connecticut, Inc.; Connecticut Parents’ Rights Coalition, Connecticut Against Common Core; and Connecticut Grassroots Alliance.
Authored numerous articles on a variety of Constitutional and individual rights issues. Interviewed on radio, television, and print media on multiple occasions on these issues. Consulted with, and assisted, various legislators in drafting new laws.
Former broadcast and print journalist.
Parent of two daughters, both successfully homeschooled, before graduating college at agent 15 and 16, both of which also went on to complete graduate schools, and are engaged in successful careers.
