Looks to me like DeGov is getting lumps of coal in his stocking(s) this holiday, and they may interfere with the lifts in his shoes that make him feel like a big man. He HAS been a bad boy, and Santa knows all.
Since most know of Ron DeGov’s problems by now, I won’t list everything that is disintegrating under him. I’ll try to stick to the stuff that ticks Santa off the most.
From the start, DeSantis angered many by breaking his promise to fulfill his second term as governor of the State of Florida. Then, he threw the $80 million remaining in his gubernatorial campaign warchest into the run for POTUS. Wouldn’t be surprised if several million Floridians wrote Saint Nick about these, in advance of the season. Now for the holiday lumps.
November 21, DeSantis bought an endorsement from an Iowa evangelist, Robert VanderPlaat, for $95,000. The man of God immediately picked DeSantis over Trump. Another note to Santa may well have gone out here.
The next day, Nov. 22, the CEO of the DeSantis Super Pac, “Never Back Down” Chris Jankowski, did. After a meeting that nearly ended in blows, UPI reported that the “resignation comes among continued uncertainty and infighting”
Although Super PACS are legally not allowed to coordinate with campaigns, they have pushed these boundaries. says US News. Jankowski gave a statement that his position had become “untenable”. Was this illegal activity part of what caused the rift? It IS, political, after all, so we’ll probably never know for sure. But breaking the law is definitely not on Santa’s “nice” list.
Just days ago, on Dec. 17, the Never Back Down chief strategist, Jeff Roe, also stepped down. Roe quit effective immediately. It is unclear the extent of Never Back Down’s role going forward after a wave of departures, including the exit of its CEO and its board chairman, Adam Laxalt, a former Nevada attorney general and one of DeSantis’ oldest friends in politics. Earlier this month, on the day DeSantis reached his goal of visiting all 99 Iowa counties, the super PAC dismissed three senior officials close to Roe in a move that confounded many people working there. Sounds like his friends may be bailing to avoid getting lumps from Santa themselves.
Should I even mention Mrs. DeSperate’s invitation for people to come vote in the Iowa caucus, even if they are not registered to vote there?? Seems that Casey is learning from the best of the Deep State cheats.
What IS clear is that Ron DeSantis is getting increasingly desperate as his campaign support is quitting on him. You’d think (I do, anyhow) that all that expensive Ivy League education, would have taught the guy to read. The handwriting is on the wall, and has been for some months, as DeGov continues to drop in the polls. But the Yalie named Ron, just cannot seem to read it. More proof that higher education is often useless in real life.
I KNOW that neither Santa nor God will forgive Governor DeSantis for his treatment of the J6 families in his state, until he comes clean and asks forgiveness. Nor, for the head-fake legislation on medical “freedom: and election “integrity”. Lots of us never will.
Speaking of election integrity, MUCH more on Florida voting machines is coming next. Know how we’re all told “they’re not connected to the internet”? Yeah. Stay tuned.
