Drain the swamp: U.S. Congress works against Americans
With a vibrant, action-oriented new President Donald Trump on January 20, 2017—-it’s time to drain the swamp known as our U.S. Congress—especially its career corrupt politicians.
As British Lord Acton said, “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
One of the greatest flaws in the U.S. Constitution and its amendments: the founding fathers failed to engage term limits of 10 years maximum for the House and Senate. Because of that, Lord Acton’s historical maxim plays out daily in the USA.
Those 535 scoundrels for the past 45 years slammed us with a $20 trillion debt. We pay out of our paychecks $30 million every month for that debt. We need responsible members instead of the ones that got us into this mess.
Congress created the “Great Society” in 1964 that cost us trillions of dollars, and, at the same time, created an entire of welfare state where women birth 10 to 15 babies to gain greater paychecks. About 48 million people sit on their butts while they eat off their food stamps and EBT cards. (Electronic Benefits Cards, which they fraudulently overuse and misuse and cheat all of us out of billions of dollars annually.) There no accountability.
Same with the 1965 Immigration Reform Act that dumps 1.2 million legal immigrants on us annually. It’s out of date, but not one single Congress critter will rescind it.
Congress voted for “Free Trade” agreements 40 years ago with China that guaranteed cheap goods to us, but eviscerated our manufacturing jobs to the point of endless welfare, poverty and food stamp lines for our citizens. Trump will move us toward “Fair Trade” so if China sells us $1 billion in goods, they buy $1 billion in goods. Balance! Put our people to work.
Congress critters for the past 40 years failed to secure our borders or enforce our current immigration employment laws both at the border and internally. Thus, we pay over $113,000,000.00 (billion) annually across 15 federal agencies for illegal alien kids’ K-12 education. We pay for their breakfasts and lunches. We pay for their medical care. We pay for their housing. It’s endless because we pay for their crimes of murder, rape, shoplifting, schools, welfare, anchor babies, and auto insurance increases because they don’t pay at all, and hundreds of other financial consequences. That’s all because career corrupt politicians refused to stop it, but in fact, assisted illegal immigration.
While illegal aliens work, our citizens stand in unemployment or welfare lines.
Visas! My longtime journalist friend Joe Guzzardi said, “Foreign nationals who have received visas include babysitters, lifeguards, chambermaids, ski and tennis instructors, electricians, teachers, doctors and research assistants, all jobs Americans can and will do. Such visas continue to be issued unabated despite confirmed incidents that have, on occasion, led to sex trafficking, child abuse, workplace injuries, and indentured labor practices.
“Strictly speaking, most of the 50-plus available visas give the holder employment authorization. If Trump seeks to maximize job opportunities for Americans, he should eliminate many of the visas, which long ago outlived their usefulness, assuming they ever had any. The most infamous is the H-1B visa which created national headlines this summer when Disney, Southern California Edison, Caterpillar, McDonalds, Toys “R” Us and others fired American technology specialists, and forced them to train their replacements.”
Wars! We’ve been fighting useless wars in Korea, Vietnam, and Afghanistan for the past 15 years, and the most insane war in modern history: Iraq. We’re still over there with the greatest military in the world—but we don’t win. Why? Because the members of Congress make sure we don’t win. Who wins? The “Military Industrial Complex” that doles out the defense contracts to billionaire companies.
Vietnam ruined us as it brought back drugs and total fracturing of our country.
How do we stand for the Federal Reserve Banking System when it maintains the MOST corrupt financial system against Americans? President Woodrow Wilson put us in bondage from his signature on that fraudulent document that’s been screwing the American people since 1913 by giving our money to the private banking cartel of America.
This column could be turned into a book at the corruption of Congress and its members.
Who are the worst? Easy: Senator John McCain, 80, with 40 years in Congress out of Arizona. Totally useless, corrupt and has failed America for his entire career. Harry Reid of Nevada at 78, stands eyeball deep in land scheme corruption, but keeps his seat because stupid people keep voting him into the Senate. Barbara Boxer and her sidekick Diane Feinstein of California, both Senators, exceed 80 years of age, which puts them out of touch with average Americans or what’s happening. They represent the “Queen Elizabeth’s” of America who wouldn’t know a poor person from ant…or what to do about it.
The list burgeons: Senator Schumer of New York who gave driver’s licenses to the 9/11 high jackers, that horrible senator from South Carolina Lindsey Graham. Senator Bennet of Colorado continues his useless tenure for another six years. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky should have been put out to pasture 10 years ago. Dick Durbin of Illinois stands as one of the most pro-illegal immigration senators in the Senate, along with his House mate, Luis Gutierrez who hates Americans and our Constitution.
He’s a real advocate for Mexico. Jeff Flake for Arizona does nothing for the citizens of Arizona but much to aid illegal aliens. Barbara Mikulski of Maine—a grandmother who should be retired to her rocking chair.
Guys like Keith Ellison of Minnesota, a devout Muslim, works with the Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow the USA, but the people of Minnesota voted him back into office. Another lady in the House, Maxine Waters couldn’t pass a 9th-grade math test or write a term paper if her life depended on it. She’s that stupid and irrelevant. She thinks America should support Sharia Law.
I could continue, but you get the picture. That’s why we need to vote for candidates who will pass term limits. We need to get rid of the old corruption and stop further corruption by using term limits to stop career politicians from gaining life-long terms in Congress.
Support Donald Trump and raise the national voice to pass “Term Limits” for all members of Congress to a maximum of 10 years.
