In Robert Dilley’s 1962 book, MESSAGE FOR AMERICA, he said the inroads into America are so great that our country has been transformed from a nation of rugged individualists to a nation of whiners demanding something for nothing. Benefits which to a large degree you never asked for and often do not want. The reason these benefits are being forced upon you is that the intellectual “know it alls” in our federal government believe that you are too stupid to spend your own money. Since this is the case they feel that they must take your money and buy for you the programs that you don’t have sense enough to buy for yourself. And they are so determined to get these benefits for you that they are willing to spend every last cent of your money to do it. America, once the land of the free and the home of the brave, is today the land of the Free Loader and the Brave Taxpayers. Although many of these entitlements began under Democrat presidents Wilson and FDR, the Republicans have done nothing to try to eliminate any of them.

THE ENTITLEMENT TIME BOMB

And it’s not always the Democrats like socialist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders who proposes taxing the rich and giving every child a college education entitlement. Mathew 19:24 says it easier for camel to get through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into Heaven.

Just remember, the “right” also went “wrong” back in 2004 when President George W. Bush passed the largest entitlement program since Democrat LBJ: a $400 billion prescription drug benefit program under Medicare. Within months of passage, the cost of the new entitlement was refigured and raised to $540 billion. Yet even this bait-and-switch tactic was deceptive because independent groups estimated the true cost of Medicare bill would be one trillion over ten years. And later Viagra and similar drugs were covered. So – is Bush eligible for a Heaven entitlement?

PERKS FOR THE KLEPTOCRACY

I won’t dwell long on the trappings of power and their privileges such as the presidential and congressional perks, but the April Judicial Watch newsletters said that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s use of luxury Air Force jets to travel between her congressional district in California and Washington, D.C. exposed her abuse of this travel perk. Judicial watch uncovered Pelosi’s military travel cost to the U.S. Air Force at $2,100,744.59 during one two-year period – $101,429.14 of which was for in-flight expenses, including food and alcohol. Is former Miss 1955 Luke Rack Pelosi entitled to Heaven?

And more recently there is the October 2015 profligate Columbus Day getaway when the Obama family left on an October 11 on a flight from Los Angeles, where the scallywag had attended three high-dollar fundraisers, to San Diego and then from San Diego back to Washington October 12 that required a total of 4.7 hours of flying time at $206,337 per hour. That brought the total flight cost to taxpayers to $969,783.90. The records do not include the flight time to travel from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles (through Oregon, Seattle and San Francisco), nor the Secret Service costs or other expenses. Previously released documents show the flight time from Washington Los Angeles to be five hours, which safely adds $1,031,685 and brings the known total expense to $2, 001,468.90.

And then Michelle took her girls to London for Fish and Chips in a Boeing 757 requiring a fleet of armored cars for Michelle’s sight -seeing tour in June 2009. This is what the Obama’s call “change.” But maybe the First Lady is entitled for Heaven when she was given press coverage as she volunteered at a Food Bank in her $600 sneakers.

BELIEF IN GOD

Gallup reported in June 2011 that more than 9 in 10 Americans continued to claim to believe in God which includes Pelosi, Obama and Bush. Despite the many abominable cultural changes that have been rippling through American society since November 1944 when the question was asked and 96% said “yes.” Belief in God remained high and relatively stable

DISREGARD GOD AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION

And when speaking to a group of young people in Argentina, Barack Obama was asked by one young person how to create social change? He replied, “A sharp division between capitalists and communists or socialists were starting to blur and this generation should be practical and just choose what works.”

The father of our nation, George Washington implored America to always remain a society that maintained her good standing with God but since the Sixties, we find America rejecting Christianity more and more.

THE TURBULENT SIXTIES

Some were calling for a revolution during those turbulent sixties and then went on to become college professors indoctrinating our children in those institutions to believe America was no longer exceptional. We saw in the sixties how the Baby Boomers were sacrificing the family side of their existence in order to maintain the material side. They were subjected to more social experimentation than any demographic group in history and stress became the normal. One of those revolutionists, now college professor Bill Ayers who was almost certainly involved in the San Francisco bombing on 2/16/1970 that murdered Police Officer Brian V. McDonnell. Because of prosecutorial errors, Ayers went free boasting, “Guilty as hell, free as a bird.” And guess who was seen and interviewed at a Donald Trump rally wearing a Black Lives Matter T-shirt.

WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS

If you have ever taken the time to ponder upon the state of education in America, perhaps you may consider the process that was taken to eliminate the influence of the Christian Bible. Remember Madeline O’Hare? She got God out of school and the guns came in to the schools and she and one of her sons and a granddaughter died a horrific death.

And then we had progressive sex education, values clarification ending up with single parents, abortion and alcohol resulting in a lot of psychological stress and the “self help books” – you know “I’m Ok, you’re OK” which will make some people believe Heaven is an entitlement while ignoring the admonishment in John 3:3 that says “ye must be born again.”

National greatness begins with the fear of the Lord. Christians should by now realize the futility of “bringing heaven to earth, “ whether by false “revivals” or spreading “democracy,” or just neglecting the word of God such as Matthew 7:14…narrow is the gate. True democracy (51) percent is mob rule and that clearly explains the spoiling of our republic through corruption, collusion, and what some foresee as a second American revolution.

When people neglect the word of God, the Almighty turns a nation over to Satan. Strange weather, earthquakes, tornadoes, fires, invasion by unbelievers, immorality running amok and the feminist agenda coming to fulfill Jeremiah 9:17 about “cunning women” and in 2016 we found the first “cunning” woman running for the presidency, and a self-proclaimed Socialist named Bernie Sanders promising such entitlements as college for everyone by taxing the wealthy.

THE COMING IMPLOSION

Employers often complain they cannot find workers who can do what they want done. But does that college degree mean much in the workplace where an apprenticeship could accomplish the same amount of education in most professions without the cost and Marxist indoctrination? Colleges and universities have become havens for illiteracy.

GOD OR A UNIVERSAL SPIRIT

So now it’s back to Gallup. In 1976, Gallup began using a slightly different question format to measure belief in a deity – “Do you believe in God or a universal spirit?” Bill O’Reilly, author of Killing Reagan, wrote early on that both Ronald Reagan and Nancy believed in astrology. Astrologist Joan Quigly in San Francisco had a direct phone line to Nancy as they managed Reagan’s daily calendar. Reagan’s Chief of Staff, Donald Regan was constantly fighting issues that Nancy and her astrologer created. Regan likened his job to that of a “shovel brigade following a parade down Main Street.” Nancy’s determination to control the president’s schedule and her reliance on an astronomer to chart her husband’s every move struck Regan as madness. But she had the president’s full backing. Don eventually was dismissed.

However, in the “Last Word” chapter O’Reilly writes that on May 16, 1988, Reagan finally let loose in a private letter (now owned by O’Reilly) to his friend and adviser John Koehler, ” that the hardest things to bear in all of this are the outright falsehoods and Nancy certainly didn’t fire Don. Truth is, he’d told me several months earlier he wanted to get back to private life, and I left it to him to name the day, and, of course, we haven’t been charting our course by the stars.”

YOUNG AMERICANS, LIBERALS, EASTERNERS LEAST LIKELY TO BELIEVE IN GOD

Responses to the two slightly different question formats from Gallups’ May 5-8 survey were combined to provide a larger sample for subgroup analysis. The results showed that belief in God appears to be generally high across most subgroups of the American population. Belief in God dropped below 90% among younger Americans, liberals, those living in the East, those with postgraduate educations, and political independents. However, believe in God seems nearly universal among Republicans and conservatives and, to a slightly lesser degree, in the south.

Other indicators of religiosity in America have shown more dramatic changes in recent decades, most significantly Americans’ self-identification with a religion. At some points in the 1950s, almost all Americans identified themselves with a particular religion. In recent years, more than 1 in 10 Americans tell survey interviewers they have no formal religious identify.

Those under 30 are significantly less likely than older Americans to say they believe in God. It remains to be seen whether these young Americans will move toward a belief in God as they age, or instead stick with their current beliefs. Regionally, the data confirms the religious potency of the “Bible Belt,” with Southerners 10 points more likely than easterners to say they believe in God.

The 2011 survey described the different methods used to ask the question among the different ages , ethnicity, education, locations etc. but in a May 2015 Gallup study found that 61% of respondents said it is morally acceptable to have children outside of marriage. On March 28, 2016 a Salem, Oregon couple got married at the hospital because the baby came before the wedding.

Are we keeping the faith? As apostasy abounds in the so-called church” the death of the Son of God and His resurrection has become minimized but the latest I heard on this subject of Heaven is that the younger folks no longer believe in God but they do believe in Heaven as though Heaven is an entitlement without putting in the time and effort in the Word of God which states in the Living Bible -Matthew 7:13-14: Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it and Luke 13:3 says except he repent , ye shall all likewise perish. Once a TV evangelist was asked if someone who doesn’t believe in God will get into Heaven, he replied, “That’s a management decision. I’m just in sales.”

Allow me to close with the final way to Heaven for children. “An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief, finally asked him, “How do you expect to get into Heaven?” The boy thought it over and said, “Well, I’ll run in and out and in an out and keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, “For Heaven’s sake, Dylan, come in or stay out!” And that too is your choice.
