By Betty Freauf and  Nurse Arlene Malaspina

I was born in 1936 and Arlene a few years later when people paid a small amount for a visit to a doctor. I don’t know when Catastrophic Insurance was offered to cover extreme medical cases but since the government unconstitutionally got involved in health care, it’s been nothing but chaos. We both have Medicare but if the government had not been involved in the first place, the co-pays and the insurance premiums deducted from our Social security accounts are probably far greater than what we’d have to pay if we dealt directly with the doctors and the Catastrophic insurance would have taken care of the hospital.

We listened for nearly two hours to a video tape on Caravan to Midnight radio program by John R. Wells interviewing Dr. David Janda which seemed as though it was being programmed simultaneously with the discussion in Washington, D.C. on Obama Care/Ryan care on March 24, 2017.  Along with many other physicians who are retiring rather than having to comply and be penalized by Obama care, Janda also retired on 1/20/2017 inauguration day for Mr. Trump.  And because the Republicans didn’t get Obamacare repealed, we’re assuming the restrictions and penalty part of Obamacare which were kept hidden went into effect on that day.

Janda claimed the bottom line for The Affordable Health Care Act aka Obama Care was for Single Payer insurance such as Canada has and is sold with promises of low costs, abundant care and high quality but do the claims stack up to scrutiny?  Janda says it is nothing more than socialized medicine where the government determines whether we live or die and Ryan care (which was to replace Obama care) is the same old warmed over socialized medicine and controls.

Dr. David Janda is an Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in Sports Medicine and Prevention of Injuries. He has spoken all over the country for many years WITHOUT a speaking fee, which caused him much trouble with I.R.S.  who couldn’t believe someone would travel and speak for free. He merely wants to help people. His purpose is to get rid of expensive procedures, such as an MRI for diagnostic purposes that in many cases are not necessary but do elevate the COST OF CARE. He gives his website as for those who want to know more about his work.

In the midst of his interview he told how in 1989 he and his wife had a daughter with a fatal illness caused by a cancer or a deterioration of the bones in her body. She was near death and not expected to live. He picked up his beautiful, red-headed daughter into his arms and prayed to God that He would take him instead. He heard a “voice” in his head saying, “go for prevention,” or something similar, and a moment later his daughter woke up and began speaking.  Although his father said he never heard the voice, told him to follow it even though he probably would never get on Oprah.  His daughter lived and he knew at that moment what his path in life would be. Due to this miraculous incident, his daughter became a Doctor graduating from University of Michigan Medical School and is now a practicing Anesthesiologist.

Instead of just treating injuries, Dr. Janda pursued the medical path of PREVENTION that lowered the medical costs for all but did not ingratiate him with corporate profits.  He created the “Institute For Preventative Sports Medicine” that is functioning today. He wrote a book and a short time later was invited to appear on Oprah’s show with 14 million listeners which helped the sale of his book.

He told how the #1 reason for kid’s deaths in sports is caused by chest compression injuries. They are given CPR but they die. These kinds of injuries interrupt the cycle of the heart, and they should be taken care of not by CPR alone but by an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) that must be done within 10 minutes of injury.  These kinds of deaths also occur during automobile accidents which deploy “air bags” which compress the heart and disturb the cardiac cycle.

He told how at one children’s ball game, a boy was hit in the chest with a ball by accident. There were a couple of doctors at that game and they gave the boy CPR, but his heart could not be re-started by them. Knowing from the Oprah show that police carry AEDs with them, the mother of the boy called the Police. They arrived, shocked the boy with AED and life returned to the child.  That mother was one of the 14 million listeners on Oprah that day. BTW, most of Oprah’s shows are pre-recorded but that day she chose a live show. Why? Because she knew some of her corporate sponsors would not favor prevention over profits and the segment wouldn’t get aired.

He told how he got his medical degree and when he worked in emergency, he would be up all night taking care of a variety of sports injuries and the one injury that was common was baseball players sliding into these very permanent bases. The bases don’t break but baseball players do. He said in 1985-86 he decided prevention was more important than treating the injuries so after he was granted an opportunity to speak before Congress, he got the industry to invent “breakaway bases” because 96% of baseball related injuries were caused by these very permanent bases and 99% could be saved in medical costs. Prevention, he said, was important rather than rationing health care and health care policies never mentioned prevention.

He began speaking about prevention wherever he could find speaking platforms. In 1989 Republican GOP chairman Lee Atwater, the pit bull of American Politics (Luke 6:13) wanted to meet with him.  He was asked to testify in front of Congress but they were rude and said they were only interested in listening to celebrities. He finally got their attention when he said he didn’t need any money. One congressman said he’d been around Congress 50 years and no one had ever told him they didn’t need money.  Later someone who watched the testimony praised the doctor for humbling the nastiest SOB in Congress and he was warned never to run for political office or he would be killed because he could not be “bought off”.  Lee Atwater said he was an Albino in a Sea of Black and was given the name of Jesse James of “Health Care” because he is wanted “dead or alive.” By doing prevention $70 profit is reduced to $7 for the insurance companies. Thus far, insurance companies can never be challenged and are secure in the profits they make. And the television spreads propaganda about doctors, like “doctors are Gods”. One example could be the movie  “Malice” with Alec Baldwin and Nicole Kidman. [Link]

Lee Atwater, who said the Republican Party is the heart and soul of pro-life without wavering, died of an inoperable brain tumor in March 1991. In an interview with Cal Thomas he said “I have found Jesus Christ. It’s that simple.” “He’s made a difference and I’m glad I’ve found him while there’s still time.” He was busy writing notes to old political enemies, apologizing for the way he had treated them and asking for forgiveness. “For the first time in my life, I don’t hate anybody anymore” but Democrats were questioning his true conversion.  We all pray for the day politicians in both parties will find Jesus Christ as their savior. What a difference that would make in our government.

However, Atwater did see Health IRAs and Health Savings implemented but those programs upset the government and the insurance companies because they lost control. Since Reagan, there have been only Globalist goons in the White House and the same program presented to Reagan was put on the back burner with George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and then suddenly we had Machiavellian President Barack Obama and the Affordable Care Act mandating more controls and the loss of our freedoms. Machiavellian principles: I will control, I will get you to love me, but I will control. If I cannot get you to love me, then I will get you to hate or fear me. But I will control. If I cannot get you to love me or fear me, then I will destroy you!

One month after Obama’s inauguration the Affordable Care Act was ready, waiting and signed into law. The Republicans had eight years to figure out how to repeal it.

This disastrous system came to us in 2 parts:

  1. The first part was hidden in the 400 page Stimulus bill of 2008, a rationing –based plan, which is inhumane along with enforcement boards just like Hillarycare back in the 1992-1993 that failed.
  2. All the rest came with the passage of the “Obamacare” plan (Affordable Health care) As Nancy Pelosi said, “You’ll have to pass the bill to see what’s in it!” Why voters keep electing these grunges I’ll never know.

Dr. Janda believes healthcare should be AVAILABLE, AFFORDABLE, and of GOOD QUALITY and Obamacare fails in these areas and the Comparative Effectiveness board’s approval is determined by cost and by how long the patient will benefit from the procedure (Senior Citizens are out of luck) while the National Coordination for Health Information Technology board guides medical decisions at time and place of care.

Dr. Janda’s method of care is to make people healthy, rather than “rationing” care. He also found that the bill contained “meaningful user of system” which demands that all doctors follow the guidelines. If he chooses to help the patient instead of following the rules, he may not be paid and he may be fined $100,000 per offense. A more stringent punishment follows if he again disobeys the guidelines. He will be put in jail.

The death panels and rationing boards which former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin warned about were in the Stimulus Bill but not in the later Health Care Bill. Globalists didn’t want the true facts of Obamacare to be released to the public.

Ayn Rand has a quote in her book, Atlas Shrugged (1957) that explains the true workings of the government:

“Did you really think we want those laws observed? “said Dr. Ferris. We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against. We’re after power and we mean it. There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone?  But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law breakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll b e much easier to deal with. (Atlas Shrugged – 1957) (WMail Issue #23

Thousands of doctors are leaving because they were taught in school about giving high-quality care in quality facilities. Instead, they now have to use the formula of Obamacare to “ration” health care.  And RyanCare doesn’t pass the “sniff test” of DO NO HARM, which is the oath they take upon graduation. Only about 7% of doctors belong to the AMA, but the AMA makes their rules. Also, the AMA owns the systems of ICD9 and ICD 10 (diagnostic codes to establish prices or justifying payment of costs). And it’s the AMA which profits from these systems. It’s also very time-consuming in the medical profession.

This is what President Trump is up against. He has been in “Globalist” circles, but he is not actually “one of them.” This is the reason why there is such a great amount of false accusations about him. They are afraid he’s going to blow the system they’ve been creating. . Dr. Janda goes on to say, “I think we’ve got a fighting chance because now there is not a ‘globalist’ in the top seat of government. “ While he acknowledges there are shysters left over from the Obama administration that want to do the president harm, he feels there are more good people that can surface now.”

In closing, allow us to use a bit of humor because the medical community is unable to reach consensus on what to do with America’s health insurance situation.

The Allergists were in favor of scratching it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves. The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve.

Meanwhile, Obstetricians felt certain everyone was laboring under a misconception, while the Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted. Pathologists yelled, “Over my dead body!” while the Pediatricians said, “Oh, grow up!” The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it. Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing and the Internists claimed it would indeed be a bitter pill to swallow.

The Plastic Surgeons thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea. Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and those lofty Cardiologists didn’t have the heart to say no. In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the assholes in Washington.   (Author Unknown)
