President Trump isn’t the first president to promise peace. A June 1963 speech by President John F. Kennedy was titled “A Strategy of Peace.” About five months later he was dead. The assassin was identified as a former Marine trained in marksmanship who had lived in the Soviet Union and had been allowed to get too close to a president being inadequately protected by the Secret Service. Questions remain about the CIA connections of Lee Harvey Oswald.

President Trump is promising peace as well and has already survived two assassination attempts.

“I speak of peace because of the new face of war,” Kennedy said. “Total war makes no sense in an age when great powers can maintain large and relatively invulnerable nuclear forces and refuse to surrender without resort to those forces.”

JFK was talking about the Soviet threat and negotiations to reduce the danger. The Russians inherited the Soviet nuclear weapons, have modernized them while the American nuclear arsenal has deteriorated, and are now threatening to use them over Ukraine.

Foreign Affairs, the journal of the establishment’s Council on Foreign Relations, is out with a new article, ominously titled, “How Ukraine Became a World War: New Players Are Transforming the Conflict—and Complicating the Path to Ending It.” It’s a reference to Russia, China, Iran, and now North Korea mobilizing their forces against America.

Under these circumstances, the solution is clear from an America-First perspective: the war in Ukraine cannot be won and must be settled quickly, so that America can regroup and even rearm under another Trump presidency.

In the Middle East, there is no nuclear threat to America – not yet. Israel has an undeclared nuclear arsenal for self-defense but was restrained by Biden/Harris from taking out the Iranian nuclear weapons complex, leaving this threat for the time being.

This could change under Trump, leading to Israel’s elimination of the Iranian nuclear threat. But that would still leave Russia, the main backer of Iran, as a regional and global threat.

Under these circumstances, a peace settlement in Ukraine, to buy precious time for a Trump presidency to consolidate power, makes sense. But there are powerful anti-Trump forces in the national security establishment, also known as the Deep State.

War is Big Business for the Pentagon and the CIA.

The Ukraine Connection

One of the would-be assassins, Ryan Routh, was a self-described recruiter for the Ukraine military. He traveled to and from Ukraine under the watchful eye of the CIA and FBI. Now that Trump is president-elect, the danger increases. Trump’s safety and security are matters of deep concern as he tries to get Ukraine to settle with Russia.

The Pentagon advocates more weapons for Ukraine on the grounds that weapons deals create jobs. This is one element of what Eisenhower called the military industrial complex.  It was on full display when Ukraine President Zelensky made a campaign appearance for Kamala in Pennsylvania, alongside other Democrats, at a Pennsylvania arms factory. It was a tragic mistake, following previous mistakes made by Ukraine’s leaders when they disarmed and gave their nuclear weapons back to Moscow under an arrangement negotiated by Democrat President Bill Clinton.

Now Ukraine will have to pay the price, in territorial concessions to Moscow. There is no alternative in the face of a possible nuclear conflict in Russia, Ukraine’s inability to win the war, and North Korean and possibly direct Chinese military intervention on the side of Moscow.  At the same time, a Russian military jet has visited North Korea, in another indication of greater military cooperation.

Clearly, Trump must be guarded against the threat posed by the Deep State, which wants the war in Ukraine to continue and must have known about Ukraine supporter and would-be assassin Ryan Routh’s activities – and failed to stop him.

Like Lee Harvey Oswald, however, Routh’s contacts with American intelligence agencies are being carefully concealed. Trump’s people must investigate this immediately, for the sake of the life of the president-elect. In the short term, that means replacing or supplementing Secret Service protection for Trump with a private security force.

The Hunter Biden Laptop

The Deep State includes the current and former intelligence officials who signed the letter claiming that stories about the Hunter Biden laptop and the corruption of the Biden family that involved Ukraine were Russian propaganda. The FBI had the laptop and had carefully concealed its contents.

One of the signers of that letter was Leon Panetta, the former left-wing Congressman and Defense Secretary and CIA Director under Barack Hussein Obama. His Panetta Institute is sponsoring a November event featuring an awards ceremony in honor of Republican Rep. Mike Turner, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

Why would a Republican member of Congress associate with a former Obama official active in the cover-up of the Biden scandals? `

When the letter was exposed as bogus and itself based on disinformation, Panetta defended his signature on it, saying he had no regrets.

We had warned about the shady connections of Leon Panetta when he joined the Obama Administration.

Back in 2011, Trevor Loudon and I released documentary evidence of Panetta’s associations with identified communists such as Hugh DeLacy, who had himself served as a member of the U.S. Congress. DeLacy had ties to identified communist spies Solomon Adler and Frank Coe and accused spy John Stewart Service.

Panetta, as a member of Congress, opposed President Ronald Reagan’s policy of supporting the Nicaraguan freedom fighters known as the Contras. He was closely associated with the Marxist Institute for Policy Studies.

In his 2015 book, Worthy Fights, Panetta talked about his clandestine work for the Obama Administration, admitting an “occasionally candid relationship” he had developed with Mikhail Fradkov, the head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, the SVR. He writes that Fradkov wanted “to share information and collaborate on some common operational activities.”

This kind of record helps explain why he was a perfectly suitable member of the Obama regime and why Russia invaded Ukraine under Obama and then under Biden (but not under Trump). Trump, the so-called Russian agent, kept Russia at bay.

Rep. Turner is a Globalist

Why GOP Rep. Mike Turner wants to accept an award from an organization associated with Leon Panetta doesn’t make sense from an America-First viewpoint. Panetta Institute events have featured Never-Trumpers Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, who both campaigned for Kamala Harris, and Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward, who specializes in books about the CIA and establishment intrigue over involvement in foreign wars. Woodward was a member of the Watergate team of Washington Post reporters who brought down Republican President Richard Nixon in what some regarded as another Deep State coup.

These forces tried to bring Trump down during his first presidency and can be expected to try again.

Rep. Turner is in some very bad company, from a pro-Trump perspective.

Looking forward, he will be a forceful advocate for the Deep State. He is part of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s 2025 Spring Session scheduled for Dayton, Ohio, in Spring 2025.

The New World Order, as articulated by George Soros, envisions NATO serving as a global military force until the U.N. is strong enough to assume that role. Soros wrote, “Toward a New World Order: The Future of NATO.”

Biden himself (when he was lucid) wrote “How I learned to Love the New World Order” for the Wall Street Journal.

A strong advocate of NATO, which has been expanded to 32 countries, Rep. Turner favors more U.S. aid to Ukraine in the no-war war that accelerated under Biden/Harris. Two weeks ago, he sent a letter to Biden demanding “that the Biden-Harris Administration establish a red line about the use of North Korean forces against Ukraine.”

A “red line” implies further escalation on the part of the United States, leading to more threats from Russia and a possible nuclear confrontation.

Trump has many global enemies.

Remember that Russian President Putin endorsed Kamala for president, knowing she would be easier to manipulate, and it has been reported by John Solomon of Just the News that Russia may have been among the foreign countries financing Kamala’s campaign through the Democratic Party fundraising platform ActBlue. Would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh had contributed more than $140 to the Democrats through ActBlue.

In addition, the Democratic Party is a member of the global Progressive Alliance together with the British Labor Party, which now governs Britain and sent “volunteers” to America to help Kamala win. Trump’s campaign filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission over this collusion, contending the Labor Party and the Harris for President campaign were making and accepting illegal foreign national contributions.

Such an investigation could expose another foreign plot against Trump.

Globally, with the U.S. on the edge of a direct confrontation with Russia, Trump’s proposed peace settlement in Ukraine becomes imperative. But he must act fast, as his own security situation still makes him a potential target.
