The Devil is Real

In today’s watered-down Christianity we have lost sight of the Spiritual War that is raging around us. Most Christians have very little understanding that the Spiritual War is not a “personal” war…although it does affect us individually. The battle is between the “seed” of the Serpent and the “Seed” of the woman. Humans are pawns in the game. Control of the world is the prize.

Jesus Christ has already defeated His foe. “All power is given unto me both in heaven and earth.”

But the battle is still playing out, much like a football game. There is still time on the clock but the outcome has already been decided. Our job is to “Occupy till He comes.” We are approaching clean up time in this great cosmic battle.

At the same time, we really do not understand our enemy. The Bible warns us that “my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” What you don’t know can kill you. So here is a little background on the enemy of Christ.

“Satan” is a transliteration of a Hebrew word, which means “adversary,” or “opponent.” The word satan is used multiple times in the Old Testament, often referring to anyone who is blocking or challenging someone else.

Satan is not in hell…yet. That is where he will end up. Until then, his domain is the earth and Sheol which is the underworld. Satan originally walked upright. The judgement of God caused him to “crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.”

Satan is a real being. He has pronouns. He/ Him. The Bible never calls Satan “it.” He has a heart, mind, and will. Satan is a real being.

The Bible calls Satan “the prince of this world” and “the god of this world.” Most people serve Satan by worshipping the THINGS of the world…money, power, sex, self. Many churches teach people to seek after worldly gain. Hence, unknowingly serving the Devil.

Satan is a liar and the father of lies. The Bible says “there is NO TRUTH in him.” His weapons are few but effective…lies, deception, and FEAR. “He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). Jesus is TRUTH. Lies bring bondage…Truth brings liberty. Satan CAN give WORLDLY gifts…but they come at a price. Christ’s gifts are free.

God is pro-choice. He does not force anyone to follow Him. He “freely gives us all things.” But He is KING of KINGS…and Kings rule over Princes. Satan’s authority was defeated at the Cross. “CHOOSE this day whom you will serve.” Most of the problems in America are a result of people making bad choices.

Satan has a team. They are called Demons. They are they players on Team Satan. Christ has ultimate authority over them. Their goal is to wreck Team Jesus. Believers have been given the power to stop them. If you believe in angels you must believe in demons.

Demons influence the thoughts and minds of people. Jesus told us to “take captive every thought.” ALL behavior begins as a thought. Demons have the ability to plant thoughts in our minds. Thoughts lead to action. Although Flip Wilson said “the Devil made me do it.” That is a lie. The Devil tricked you into doing it.

Demons have a voice. Jesus warned us “my sheep hear my voice and another voice they will not hear.” Evidently there are other voices. Voices in your head. Thoughts. Take them captive. Bring them to Christ. Stop obeying the wrong voices…er thoughts. CHOOSE this day whom you will serve. All sin is a choice.

The American Government is under control of Satan. Psalm 2 makes it perfectly clear.

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”

America’s pastors have washed their hands of politics. They say it is dirty. In the meantime, Satan controls all the levers of power. Usurped power. The Luciferians threw Jesus out of the government and we are now living under Demonic rule. Charles Finney warned us:

If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discernment, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in Christianity, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it.

The Devil is ruling from Washington DC. The government is shutting down churches. We have it backwards. Churches should be shutting down the Satanic government.

The “separation of church and state” was placed in the Constitution to protect the church from the tyrannical hand of the government.

The Devil is real. The American Apostate Church has yielded all authority to Satan’s acolytes. It is not Left/Right, white/black, young/old, rich/poor, conservative/liberal, Republican/Democrat. The battle is Spiritual…the battle of two seeds.

Proverbs 8:36 “But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.”

Look around at the promotion of death in America. Who do you think is pushing THAT agenda? They are shooting up our schools. They hate the seed of the woman. It is about to get ugly.

The Devil is real. He has children (seed). One seed loves life and one seed loves death. Until you understand this you will never figure it out.

It is no more complicated than that.
