On the day of Donald Trump’s first inauguration in 2017, Hillary Clinton used some of her former staffers and started a nationwide organization to train young socialists to run for positions in state politics, to take those “down ballot races”. To spread communism at the “ground level”. THAT is why we must care.
Her organization is called “Run For Something”, (RFS). RFS solicits, trains, and pays for bringing young progressives (aka, Marxists) into public office. As Wikipedia says,
“Run for Something is a progressive American political organization dedicated to recruiting and supporting young candidates running for down-ballot office. Its mission is to get young progressive candidates from non-traditional backgrounds to run for and win state and local offices, and create a next generation slate of political candidates that will seek higher office” in the years ahead.
I did a deep dig into this years ago, and their training unabashedly includes teaching their young people to lie. A young woman running for Chattanooga TN school board in 2018 had signs all over town claiming that she was a Republican. Fortunately she lost, but she spoke openly about the trained scam, but all units of local governance were not that lucky.
The first year that the young commies were out there running for office, they won over 600 races around the country. They fought against even other Democrats who were considered too “old school Democrat”, i.e., not Leftist enough. Judgeships, School Board seats, city council chairs, and even state legislatures were filled with Hillary’s young Communists.
RFS candidates appear in states in direct proportion to how many electoral votes are at stake.
In Florida, during the first year or so of RFS turning their young people loose on society, there were 42 who ran for office, from water board to state legislature. Some names you might know include Austin Gaylord, W. Melbourne City Clountil; Eunice Flowers, N. Miami City Commission; Evan A. Shields, N. Miami Council (also a real estate developer who pushes “workforce housing” which “elevates access and equity ). Corey Givins, St. Pete City Council, and Vice Mayor Joshua Simmons who in an incumbent on the Coral Springs City Council, billing himself as the “first black” in the position.
Then, there was David Arreola, Mayor of Gainesville; he ran in ‘24 as the D candidate for FL House Dist. 22, but lost. A. J. D’Amico, a young Cuban lawyer ran for FLHS 113 in 2022, also losing to a Republican. But not all lost.
Bryan Eastman was elected on his first try (2022) to Gainesville City Commission and served as mayor pro-tem in that city for a period of time. Eastman managed Obama’s campaigns. Then, Ashley Gantt, FLHD 109 won, and is currently the sponsor of 8 bills heading into the 2025 session. Sara Jones, a personal injury attorney, is on the Polk County School Board. Travares McCurdy was the incumbent in FLHD 46 2022-22.
Sarah Rockwell, another RFS graduate, won a seat on the Alachua County Bd. of Ed. and was unanimously chosen as chair in 2024.
So it goes, around this country. This information and these numbers were taken directly from the websites of Wikipedia and RFS.
You can go directly to their website to see, Runforsomething.net, to read more, but this is today’s reality in that red state of Florida. Young socialists are all over the state, and the nation.
Since its inception in Jan., 2017, RFS HAS RECRUITED 100,000 young people in all 50 states, making sure that there will be a plentiful supply of Marxists running for offices. It is our responsibility to sniff them out, and spread the word. Never wonder about who is a new candidate who shows up for one of your local elections. KNOW; he or she might just be a Run For Something graduate.
Know this. They will never stop, regardless of who is in the White House, and will be out there campaigning against our Republic at every turn. President Trump and Lady Liberty need our help.
