In 2017, I read about Beijing’s 600-year-old Temple of Heaven. To my amusement, facial recognition technology restricted tourist toilet users from dispensing more than one 60-centimeter (two-foot) section of paper every nine minutes. At first, I snickered at the notion of clandestine TP Police hovering in the shadows but, truth told, this was no laughing matter.
The Technocrat Magazine (1937) defines Technocracy as the science of social engineering to produce and distribute goods and services to the global population. As showcased with toilet paper conservation in China, “experts” who claim to know best dominate.
Domination in an Age of Experts
The concept of human domination in an age of would-be experts is by no means new. Plato introduced the art of steering and governing people, and Capitalist critic Thorstein Veblen called for “a Soviet of Engineers” to provide needed momentum. French economist and socialist theorist Henri St.-Simon fingered scientists as superior to all other men. Add Darwinian-Marxist ideals and voilà : Totalitarian fantasies of so-called “experts” take center stage.
While the Technotronic Era integrates technology into everyday life, the Technocratic Era occasions governance by experts whose data-driven decisions eclipse popular vote in a Constitutional Republic.
Conceived at Columbia University (1932), Technocracy boasts dramatic plans that were never legislated, debated or publicly discussed. Bypassing ethical considerations, societal issues are managed by technical expertise. This is called scientism. Its mate (called positivism) requires citizen-elected officials to kowtow to technical experts (e.g., Dr. Anthony Fauci during the pandemic).
Mirroring the Marxist/Leninist maxim of “earning one’s keep on earth,” Technocrats implement the socialist principle of State-managed development. Working to abolish private property, a self-serving scientific dictatorship seeks to control all resources (including people), worldwide.
Reborn in the 1970s when Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote Between Two Ages, Technocracy spread globally. Brzezinski’s hand-picked choice for President, Jimmy Carter, unleashed a cadre of global-elite Trilateralists to dominate engines of global economic transformation and thereby threaten our nation’s sovereignty and financial security. Once the Trilateral Commission made a clean sweep of the Cabinet and Executive Branch, Technocracy co-opted our entire political system; and creation of a New International Economic Order captured the world.
Technocratic Trial Run
In 2016, the UN released its 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Effectively absorbing Agenda 21 and the Millennium Development Goals into a single framework, “new goals” were fleshed out in 2017 through a number of meetings.
Over time, partisans played their parts well. Obama rolled out “smart” cities and grids, and fellow Democrat Joe Biden put the proverbial bow on America’s planned destruction. From the Republican camp, President George W. Bush laid groundwork for the 2020 Technocrat Coup d’état. During his Presidency, a 2007 committee decided coming pandemic closures. His was a corporatist dream team of representatives from “Big Everything”—“big” food, “big” energy, “big” retail, “big” computers, “big” water. You name it.
With the global 2020 Coup d’état, Technocrats of Fauci ilk (and fame) grasped the reins of economics, politics and religion to render as “non-essential” free market capitalism, the Constitution and religious freedom. Creating quasi-martial law throughout America, Donald Trump committed the military to roll out Operation Warp Speed that accelerated development, manufacturing and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics. “Big” Pharma ruled.
- Shut-Down “Success” Story
According to plan, an ultra-radical, purportedly “common-good” and “scientific” dictatorship eclipsed elected politicians. Insiders effectively silenced the people’s voice, trounced freedom of choice, canonized Cancel Culture and inaugurated a crippling culture of fear. First Amendment rights were denied, churches were closed and mental illness soared. Its first year alone, the World Health Organization reported 25% rise in mental health issues trailed by significant increase of anxiety and depression worldwide.
Lockdowns massively interfered with competitive capitalism as closures provided the best possible subsidy to big business while independent small businesses suffered huge disadvantage. Fraud ruled. Audient Group founder and former Government Accountability Office executive Linda Miller fingered in excess of $1 trillion in Covid-19 relief funding that was stolen through fraud, often by foreign, adversarial nation-states; and the Washington State Auditor’s Office uncovered mishandling of over $1.1 billion in federal Covid-19 aid.
Bottom line: The Technocrat trial coup had triumphed. Billionaires were born and, going forward, moneyed global trustees stood ready to safeguard earth’s wealth of limited resources and, for the sake of natural equilibrium and human egalitarianism, to ration those resources.
“Arch Technocrats” in the Trump Administration
On board with AI, the Trump administration has sidelined the Federal Reserve’s Central Bank Digital Currency (“digital dollar”) for a privatized crypto/tokenized financial system boasting a new regulatory framework (this, via Genius and Enable Acts; also, signed executive orders). Bypassing human prompts and continuous oversight, Agentic AI tools enhance ten functional layers set to transform government and public administration from reactive compliance to proactive, outcome-driven governance. Human oversight will increasingly move from making decisions to supervising them; and once this critical shift of viewpoint has occurred, all of the essential features of obedience naturally follow.
George Orwell’s novella, Animal Farm (1945), reminds us that “all animals are equal, but some animals (e.g., “Arch Technocrats”) are more equal than others.” As of 2024, the combined net worth of Global Trustees (Arch Technocrats) exceeds $1.3 trillion. Deemed “more equal” than others, founder of Pay Pal, German-American Olympic Cross-Country Skier Peter Thiel joins Elon Musk as two such Arch Technocrats. Ostensibly for common-good benefit of future generations, moneyed Arch Technocrats serve as elitist Global Trustees to ration earth’s wealth to global citizens. Theirs is a cashless system of hierarchical society akin to feudalism.
It mustn’t be overlooked that when President Trump signed a $10 billion contract with Palantir Technologies that specializes in data analysis for the administration and military both, he awarded $319 million to Ach Technocrats Peter Thiel and Palantir CEO Alex Karp to roll it all up with Cloud access.
Alarmingly, an American, far-right political theorist and computer scientist (also, mentor to J.D. Vance), Arch Technocrat Curtis Guy Yarvin calls for an accountable monarchy to replace the “failed experiment” of American democracy. When Peter Thiel brought in AI assistants to sack government employees using RAGE (Replace All Government Employees), Yarvin was involved.
- “All the King’s Men”
Unfortunately, “Arch Technocrats,” some within Trump’s administration, drive the Digital State and betray the MAGA, populist movement. For example, South African-American entrepreneur and investor David Sacks serves as President Trump’s AI and Crypto Czar, and “King Maker” Mark Andreessen brings in qualified Technocrats to serve the administration. Director of the WH Office of Science and Technology Policy Michael Kratsios previously served as Managing Director of Scale AI, the largest dominant training facility for AI in the world.
International organizations provide a comprehensive global framework for digital cooperation and AI governance (UN, 2024). It mustn’t be overlooked that the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is aligned with GovTech aims, and technology is foundational to the Trump presidency. Correspondingly, Arch Technocrat Larry Ellison is knick-named “the shadow President” who “calls the shots” outside of the lime-light, and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick was the architect of DOGE through which government data were transferred into AI Platforms and placed into the AI Cloud.
Based on not-so-stable stablecoins, a privatized, asset-based tokenization process has allowed Lutnick to lease over the national debt. Not Congress, nor the President, but Arch-Technocrats wrote the plan. Patrick Wood fears that “the people’s land” is about to be digitized and plundered from the American people by majority share-owners, Howard Lutnick and family. This represents nothing short of a Technocrat takeover.
- AI and Cryptocurrency/Blockchain
Ostensibly in pursuit of “the greater good,” the “Soviet of Engineers” continues to drive “deep transformation.” Using AI and cryptocurrency/blockchain as weapons of mass subjugation, said “experts” “build empire” via a privatized crypto (or tokenized) financial system wherein assets are represented as digital tokens on a blockchain. Allowing for easier trading and ownership transfer, a blockchain is a distributed ledger with growing lists of records that are securely linked together via cryptographic hashes. The process enables fractional ownership and reduced reliance on traditional intermediaries (like banks).
On the down side, the Artificial Intelligence Model requires countries to unify into a single platform their incredibly rich data (inclusive of electronic financial, healthcare, geo-spatial, diagnostic-societal and genomic data). Enter the post-human age of constant surveillance.
If Technocrats have their way, no hint of the multi-faceted American Dream will remain. In time, a Certificate of Distribution will be available to every citizen, birth to death. “Fair share” energy credits (similar to food stamps) will be distributed to all world citizens deemed “less equal” than others.
- Project Stargate
The action plan for building empires around the world entails acceleration of AI innovation, leading international AI diplomacy and security, and building an American AI infrastructure (as Project Stargate). Project Stargate is an American-multinational AI joint venture created by OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle and investment firm MGX. By 2029, the venture plans on investing up to $500 billion in AI infrastructure in the US. The project will provide data processing power for AI to automate more and more government functions. Capturing allies and partner countries in lockstep with technocratic ideals, the US exports its full AI technology stack (hardware, models, software, applications and standards). The system arguably builds world empire on the back of digital slaves.
- Weaponized Digital Tech, Ukraine
WWIII is not between nation-states. Fought between transnational rulers and common humanity, it is a global class war with social engineering function. Made possible with help of the UK, Switzerland and the US, Ukraine is creating technologies capable of changing the world. The 2025 Global Governance Technology Center in Kyiv showcases digital transformation into a Technocratic World State. Recent ads I’ve seen on Newsmax bring this phenomenon to light.
A platform representing Ukraine’s digital ecosystem at the global level, Digital State UA highlights how Ukrainian technologies, digital solutions and innovations are transforming the state, plus the entire Tech, GovTech and IT sectors. Their GovTech solutions template for the world can be scalable, effective and useful to other countries. Some countries currently on board include Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden and the UK.
Capitalism and Technocracy are vying for control. When the former dies, the latter lives, thereby introducing social engineering and mass surveillance at the global level. GovTech fundamentally reforms relationship between State Citizens and the Private Sector. Without our input, all public services will be digitized. Consistent with the war on terror, new technologies will likely be turned on the public.
Conclusion: Technological Singularity
When AI surpasses human intelligence, and current understandings fail, Technological Singularity arises. Ostensibly to safeguard earth’s wealth of limited resources, the hypothetical future offers total surveillance of world citizens under autocratic, planetary systems management via digital databases.
With this in view, it behooves us as Christians to be wise as serpents, harmless as doves. Our urgent, timely charge is to restrain the lawless one and defeat deception. Alert to the enemy’s wiles and armed with discernment, we must stand stalwartly against deluding “greater good,” antichrist agendas. (Matthew 10:16, 2 Thessalonians 2:7-16) Our solemn charge is to stand with God Almighty, affirm His will and partner with it in heartfelt intercessory prayer. For the sake of our children and grandchildren, I invite you to join with me in answering this urgent call.
