Speculation about who Donald Trump should pick as running mate on the 2024 presidential ticket is a major topic of discussion. For a few days splashy headlines were all over conservative web sites: Tucker Carlson for VP! YES! Ah, no. Tucker Carlson is very, very popular, no question. (I watch his shows here and there on Musk’s platform X.) Carlson is worth $900 million bux and has been in the news business for decades. Why shouldn’t he be Trump’s pick?
We must remember the purpose of a VP is clear cut: Should something happen to a lawfully elected president (assassination, crippling health issues, natural passing away), the VP must be someone who can immediately step into the job of being America’s president. Nothing personal, but Tucker Carslon is not that person. You may not agree and that’s okay.
For one thing, he is extremely polarizing which is something this country doesn’t need right now. When Trump announced two-faced Mike Pence as VP pick, few in this country outside Indiana had ever heard of him or knew anything about the real Mike Pence.[1][2] Not uncommon in presidential races. Career crook, liar and POW sell-out[3][4], John McCain, chose an unknown (outside the power political circles) governor, Saint Sarah Palin, for his running mate. I attended the Republican National Convention in St. Paul [MN] in 2008 and watched her on stage with McCain. Gag me.
As I’ve been in the trenches full time for 31 years, all of the GOP 2024 presidential candidates are quite familiar to me with two exceptions: Vivek! Rama-smarmy and North Dakota’s governor, Doug Burgum. Candidates have been dropping out of the race following the second debate.
These are the left-overs still in the race: Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Vivek! Rama-smarmy, Asa Hutchinson, Doug Burgum, Chris Christie. As I haven’t owned a propaganda box (TV) for over seven years, didn’t watch the debates live nor would I have even if I owned a TV. All the reviews and the video clips I did watch on-line was like watching chickens clucking around. Burgum was treated like he wasn’t even on the stage. During the second “debate” he was given two questions in two hours. Very unfair. While I don’t want him as president, fair is fair.
The damage done by Trump’s back-stabbing cabinet picks in his first term has been a harsh lesson for him about who he chooses to advise him. Of course, Trump never listens to us nobody’s who’ve been in the trenches for decades, know who the evil doers are and how the game is played. I’m just one of many who sent Trump the immediate legal action he should have taken after the 2020 election was stolen from him. In my case, I sent the information twice overnight express mail to the WH (to his hot-shot top dog adviser, Stephen Miller) and Trump’s office at Mar-A-Lago.
And, one copy to one of his attorney’s, Binnall in Virginia, who very skillfully argued Trump’s case proving the election was stolen in Nevada. Response: Crickets. Not a single word about Foster v Love case to this day from any of his big money attorney$. Had my name been someone famous like a Hollywood ‘star’ or some big money GOP donor, perhaps Trump would have been informed and gone right to the U.S. Supreme Court for an emergency hearing.
Here, this is your decision, SCOTUS. Despite a couple of justices kicking Trump’s election cases to the curb, Trump’s legal team could have shoved the case right in their faces. Had SCOTUS upheld that prior decision by their court, Trump would now be serving out the end of his second term.
Elections Undecided by Midnight are Void & Preempted by Federal Law – Foster v Love (1997; 9-0 Decision) PREFACE OF THE BATTLE PLAN, November 18, 2020. Oral arguments here.
Trump was so far ahead by midnight, he was clearly the winner. All those swing states were in violation of federal election laws and here we are today. And, it wasn’t just about Trump in Nov. 2020. Wrote a column about it. Many GOP candidates for the U.S. House and Senate were cheated out of a fair, legal election. Those ARE federal elections and vote counting had to end at midnight ON election day. None of them paid any attention to Foster v Love and so we ended up with the current rot in the Senate.
Yeah, I did send the information to half dozen GOP senate candidates about the case and told them to fight back. Never a peep out of any of them. I might as well have spit in the wind. IMHO, they kicked all their dedicated supporters and donors in the gut by just saying, oh well.
So, who would be the ideal person for Trump to choose as his 2024 running mate? No candidate is going to be perfect for every individual voter in the country. That’s a given. But, Trump’s pick is critical and even though he’s in excellent physical and mental health, he’s also 77 and would not be sworn in until 6 months shy of his 79th birthday. Not to mention thinly veiled hopes of Trump being assassinated by those on the left who hate him. (See at the very bottom.)
When Trump announced his running mate would be back-stabbing Mike Pence, few in this country had even heard of him – except in Indiana when Pence was governor. Including yours truly. But, once announced, Pence was on the campaign trail and his face became quite familiar. No one I know who supported and voted for Trump in 2016 wanted Pence – one heart beat away from the presidency. Trump’s VP pick MUST NOT be another Mike Pence.
So, who for Trump this time around? Thankfully his WEF daughter, Ivanka and her husband are no longer involved as unpaid advisers as they were during Trump’s first term. And, boy did the two of them cash in on daddy and father-in-law being the president. Now they are living the high life leaving daddy to fight his own battles. Ivanka Trump tells U.S. Congress she rejects father’s election fraud claim
Quite honestly, my choice, because I would hope this individual would get elected in 2028 as president, is U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie [R-KY]. He is far and away THE most constitutionally grounded member of the U.S. House hands down. Massie has no baggage or fabricated scandals the “left” can use as fodder in an effort to destroy his good name.
Every two years (since 2014) Massie introduces the same bill TO STOP DOUBLE TAXING SOCIAL SECURITY. It always dies in committee – even when the GOP controlled both chambers of Congress while Trump was in the White House. And, where’s the senior lovers at AARP? Crickets.
Representative Thomas Massie Reintroduces Bill to Eliminate Social Security Double Tax, Washington, D.C., May 12, 2023
“This bill assists middle-class seniors by eliminating the unjust double tax on Social Security benefits. As the Congressional Research Service reports, “Before 1984, Social Security benefits were exempt from the federal income tax. Congress then enacted legislation to tax a portion of those benefits, with the share gradually increasing as a person’s income rose above a specified income threshold.”
“Although seniors have already paid tax on their Social Security contributions via the payroll tax, they are still required to list these benefits as taxable income on their tax returns,” said Rep. Massie. “This is simply a way for Congress to obtain more revenue for the federal government at the expense of seniors who have already paid into Social Security. My bill would exempt Social Security retirement benefits from taxation and boost the retirement income of millions of older Americans.”
As usual, my U.S. Rep. Jodie Arrington [R-TX] is NOT a supporter of the bill. Text here. Same as last session, 30 co-sponsors, all Republicans. GovTrack predicts ZERO chance of it being passed. Thank you, Republicans who just love America’s seniors.
Not a peep from Trump about that bill while he served his first term even though it would give him tens of millions of votes in 2024 he might not get from seniors who beg from Democrats for every little scrap. Not a word from Trump since he announced his candidacy this time around. You see, Trump doesn’t like Rep. Thomas Massie.
Why? Because in March 2020, Massie was balking at direct payments to individuals because panic was eating Congress alive over COVID based on a mountain of lies about cases and people dying. That is a FACT. Locking down this country and all the livelihoods destroyed because of fear mongering and hysteria created by the prostitute media is one of the worst tragedies ever to hit this country.
Massie’s real concern was about piling another $2 TRILLION BORROWED DOLLARS to the national debt which IS GOING TO EXPLODE AND DESTROY THE LIVES OF TENS AND TENS OF MILLIONS OF AMERICANS. In response to attacks by RINO’s in the House, Massie responded, “I know there are people saying, ‘Oh, you gotta vote for it. You can’t slow this down,’” Massie argued. “Meanwhile, they spent a week in the Senate arguing how much money should go to the Kennedy Center.” Think about that. And, yes, I received the $1,200 check and donated every penny over several months to my ten charities I donate a small amount to each month, year in and year out.
My little sister works in a nail salon. Dangerous maniac governor, Gavin Newsom, locked down the state. Even when he partially lifted, the county where she works kept the lockdown in place until January 2021. My sister lives at near poverty level. Living in No. California is expensive and their personal state income tax is worse than highway robbery.
The lockdown destroyed her income and if it wasn’t for me sending her money as well as some wealthy friends to help, she would have ended up on welfare. Only 4 of her clients came back. By then the rest were broke (the lockdowns kept them from working), so yes, I do understand the horror that went on that NEVER should have happened. Don’t think my heart didn’t break for the tens of millions of my fellow Americans put through such tyranny. It did.
Unfortunately, Trump fired off his mouth before loading his brain (which we’ve all done at least once in our lifetime) and viciously attacked Massie: “Looks like a third rate Grandstander named @RepThomasMassie, a Congressman from, unfortunately, a truly GREAT State, Kentucky, wants to vote against the new Save Our Workers Bill in Congress. He just wants the publicity.” Trump then blasted Massie should be thrown out of the Republican Party.
Oh, but The Donald praised and endorsed career criminal, China’s Pimp, Mitch McConnell. That didn’t last long because by 2021, McConnell was out for Trump’s scalp and Trump didn’t hold back on his opinion about China’s _itch, Mitch McConnell: Trump Blames McConnell’s ‘Stench’ After Trump-Endorsed Kentucky Candidate Loses
Rep. Thomas Massie not only isn’t a ‘grandstander’ by any stretch of the imagination, he does not and has never sought out publicity. Despite Trump’s grossly misplaced attack on Massie, on the same day Massie allegedly reached out to Trump.
But who is this Massie guy? Well, besides being a hard worker (he once got to the train station only to find out a vote was about to take place and literally ran back to the capitol to vote):
Rep. Massie Introduces Bill to Abolish Federal Department of Education, Washington, DC, February 8, 2021. WHAT? (That cabinet is unconstitutional, period. America does NOT need it. More on this in another column. Never mind the “more money for education” propaganda. That dept is a cancer that must be killed.)
“Representative Thomas Massie announces that he has introduced H.R. 899, a bill to abolish the federal Department of Education. The bill, which is one sentence long, states, “The Department of Education shall terminate on December 31, 2022.”
“States and local communities are best positioned to shape curricula that meet the needs of their students. Schools should be accountable. Parents have the right to choose the most appropriate educational opportunity for their children, including home school, public school, or private school.”
“The Department of Education began operating in 1980. On September 24, 1981, in his Address to the Nation on the Program for Economic Recovery, President Ronald Reagan said, “As a third step, we propose to dismantle two Cabinet Departments, Energy and Education. Both Secretaries are wholly in accord with this. Some of the activities in both of these departments will, of course, be continued either independently or in other areas of government.
“There’s only one way to shrink the size and cost of big government, and that is by eliminating agencies that are not needed and are getting in the way of a solution. Now, we don’t need an Energy Department to solve our basic energy problem. As long as we let the forces of the marketplace work without undue interference, the ingenuity of consumers, business, producers, and inventors will do that for us. Similarly, education is the principal responsibility of local school systems, teachers, parents, citizen boards, and State governments. By eliminating the Department of Education less than 2 years after it was created, we cannot only reduce the budget but ensure that local needs and preferences, rather than the wishes of Washington, determine the education of our children.”
On that issue Massie & Trump agree. The 2023 budget is $88.3 BILLION BORROWED DOLLARS. Trump wants to close the Department of Education, joining calls by GOP rivals, Sept. 13, 2023
In 2019, Massie was a co-sponsor of a bill to get US out of the toxic UN. Previous bills all died from 2013 to today. The UN isn’t a government. It’s a collection of representatives from almost 200 countries who exchange spit, never keep peace anywhere on this planet and rape We the People in dues for NOTHING. Americans voted to reject membership in the League of Nations in 1919. We must to get out of the United Nothing aka United Nations.
Massie on the issues:
Vote to defund the PRIVATELY OWNED Planned Parenthood. NO WHERE in the U.S. Constitution does it authorize Congress to fund Ducks Unlimited, Main Street Bakery or Planned Parenthood. Either the Constitution matters or our constitutional republic will be completely destroyed and America will die as a democracy. NO DEMOCRACY IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD HAS EVER SURVIVED.
Life begins at conception. (Nov 2012); Prohibit federal funding for abortion. (Jan 2017); No taxpayer funding of abortions via ObamaCare. (Jan 2015) On the economy as our Founding Fathers intended: You can’t spend money you don’t have and either there’s a balanced budget or the same old push and shove between the two parties will continue until the inevitable collapse.
“I, however, place economy among the first and most important republican virtues, and public debt as the greatest of the dangers to be feared.” Thomas Jefferson to William Plumer, July 21, 1816. “In September of 1789, Thomas Jefferson sat down to write a letter to James Madison asking the question: Does one generation of men have the right to bind another generation to its debt and laws?”
Back to Massie: Exclude industrial hemp from definition of marijuana. (Nov 2012); Exempt industrial hemp from marijuana laws. (Feb 2013). This is my column from the US Observer newspaper probably 15 years ago, maybe longer; ignore gap and keep scrolling down. Industrial Hemp Production. The Declaration of Independence and Constitution are written on hemp paper.
Massie: Support all free market domestic sources of energy. (Nov 2012); Cap-and-trade has no impact on global temperatures. (Jul 2010); Explore proven energy reserves & keep energy prices low. (Jul 2010). Massie supports term limits. Second Amendment: Our God-given right. Defund, repeal, & replace federal care with free market. (Jul 2010); Repeal any federal health care takeover. (Aug 2012). In other words, stick to the Constitution and let REAL free market economics reduce the cost of health care. War must be declared by Congress.
I am positive Massie would never hold an event like this:
Trump hosts gala for homosexual Republicans at Mar-a-Lago after Biden signs same-sex ‘marriage’ law, Dec. 19, 2022 – ‘We are fighting for the gay community, and we are fighting and fighting hard,’ said Trump at a gala with the Log Cabin Republicans and a slate of pro-homosexual RINO speakers.
“Trump was joined by Arizona’s 2022 GOP gubernatorial candidate, Kari Lake, and an array of high profile “GayCons” (homosexual “conservatives”) including former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell, a Trump appointee, and frequent Tucker Carlson guest commentator Chadwick Moore.
“Fox News’ Tammy Bruce, a lesbian, received the “Spirit of Lincoln Award” from the Log Cabin Republicans, the GOP LGBT organization which sponsored the event. Last year’s recipient was former First Lady Melania Trump…
“And instead of congratulating the 500 or so “GayCons” gathered in Mar-a-Lago’s ballroom, Trump and Lake should’ve asked these men and women to show that they truly are conservatives by affirming the immutable definition of marriage – as conjugal and complementary – and repudiating RMA.” *End of excerpt*
“If a man lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination and they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” — Leviticus 20:13 KJV. “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
“And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:26-27 KJV. “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” Leviticus 18:22 KJV
Trump held that event after he left office which is his right. Presidential races are NOT about social issues and the perverted propaganda and moral rot that’s been the number one agenda of the Democrat/Communist Party USA for decades. America is electing an individual whose ONLY duties as president are found in Art. 2, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution and that also applies to Congress, Art. 1, Section 8. Of course they can express their opinions and beliefs while in office, no problem and frankly, it’s welcome.
Who wants a president who thinks children should be subjected to porn in classrooms during “sex ed” or ‘drag queen’ exhibitionism is good for children? Oh, yeah, that’s been going on for decades in schools; the disgusting ‘drag queen’ fest has grown like weeds in record time. America has always looked at their president as sort of the father of the country. To be there through the worst and best of times for the American people. Nothing wrong with that; most countries on the planet look to the leader of their country for the same reasons.
Liberals (socialists) and progressives (communists) would squeal like stuck pigs over Rep. Massie’s Christian beliefs but there is a great moral awakening going on in this country as Americans are seeing in-your-face degeneracy by the hour, pushing the “trans cult” for profit and by design, flooding our country with illegal aliens from foreign cultures who have no intention of assimilating into our Western culture and traditions.
So, you see, Trump and Massie align pretty closely with the exception of a few issues which is why I believe Rep. Massie would be a perfect running mate for Trump. I’ve watched Massie over the years. He’s calm, a great thinker and above all, is a constitutionalist. Is he perfect? Of course not.
I can only say I pray Trump has learned from his first term regarding advisers he chose who were actually working against him and America. Back-stabbing globalists and RINO’s like Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr. It would be a huge mistake for America if Trump picks any of the remaining GOP challengers. I wouldn’t vote for any of them for city council, but that’s just my opinion.
If you feel Rep. Thomas Massie would make a good VP choice for Trump, he needs to hear from you and remind him: He wants to work for us again and this is what we want. You can drop him a short letter: Office of the Former President Donald Trump, Mar-A-Lago, 1100 South Ocean Boulevard, Palm Beach, Florida 33480. Send him a message on his Truth Social platform. Tell him to make nice with Massie. Pick Rep. Massie for your running mate. Massie, I believe could then go on to run for president in 2028. Tragically, between now and then, we are in for a very bad time in our history.
I don’t know if Rep. Massie would even consider the VP slot, but time grows short and Trump will have to make his move very soon after Christmas. Massie and Trump could mend fences or Trump could make another horrible choice like Mike Pence. Do visit Massie’s official web site. Short videos you should watch of him on very important issues. Don’t underestimate Massie. He’s very intelligent and committed to America and our Constitution.
