“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28
The State Chairman of the South Carolina GOP, Matt Moore, was on Fox News this morning, February 17, 2016.
He made a revealing statement. He stated that no matter what Donald Trump does, no matter what Donald Trump says, everything works out well for him. His numbers keep rising, and his rallies keep growing. He said, “For this to happen, there has to be a supernatural power behind him.”
Ya think? I fully believe that God is the supernatural power behind Mr. Trump’s popularity. Trump is neither a Democrat nor a Republican, he’s an American first, and that’s something we haven’t seen out of a presidential candidate since Barry Goldwater in 1963. Ever go to a Trump rally? He’s the candidate that steps off the dais and goes into the audience with the people, especially aiming for the veterans, and will stay for another hour down in the crowd. I haven’t seen that since 1963.
Trump can’t be bought. He’s his own man, the only man without any strings attached to the globalist elitist cabals. He wants the America he grew up in to come back, and so do I.
The Donald was raised Presbyterian and attended Sunday School. He does not, however, always attend one particular denomination. He has been seen with his wife in Baptist churches, and in the Catholic church on Christmas eve. Is he a nominal Christian? Maybe, but maybe not. Many reform church members are very private about their faith, and that’s the way Donald Trump presents…privacy.
Christians throw out the statement Mr. Trump made that when he does something wrong, he tries to make it right. Many have said, he doesn’t repent from his mistakes. I know that in business, when I made a mistake I’d try to make it right, but it wasn’t a position of sin, it was a position of a mistake. I believe that’s where Mr. Trump’s main thoughts reside, that if he does something wrong, he fixes it. As an exceptionally successful entrepreneur, that’s where his mind resides. He wasn’t concentrating on sin, but on mistakes in business. I say that because I have been in the same situation.
Donald is a believer, and has openly stated that the Bible is his number one favorite book. Does he daily sit down and read it? Who knows. Yet the man exhibits wonderful Christian charity. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” seems to be Donald’s persona. The man gives back and his children do too. Just look at Mr. Trump’s amazing children! There are so many stories of Donald Trump helping people, and thanking them for doing things for him, that they are too numerous to mention. For just a few of them, see my article, Why The GOP Establishment Hates Donald Trump.
Has God Given Us a Second Chance with Mr. Trump?
I believe Trump is a second chance. Everyone hates him, the GOP, the DNC, the MSM, and all the phony Christian right along with them. I’ve said it before, it is because Donald Trump has fouled up their agenda and plans for the New World Order. How dare Mr. Trump step in when the plans were for Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton to be president! (Both have the same agenda and Cruz or Rubio do too.)
I’ve said to many of my friends that I believe Mr. Trump is our chance for another Nineveh. Very few people even know what that is; it’s a powerful story in the Bible. Go to the Old Testament book of Jonah in your Bible and take a gander at what God asked Jonah to do. It’s only four chapters long. The name Jonah means “dove.”
See Mr. Trump at a S.C. rally holding up one of my articles a few days ago.
Jonah and Nineveh
God told Jonah to go to Nineveh and preach the truth because their wickedness, including idolatrous worship, and extreme cruelty to prisoners of war were a stench in God’s nostrils. Jonah couldn’t stand the thought of going to evil Nineveh, even when God told him to do so. He decided to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord and went to Joppa. There he found a ship going to Tarshish and he paid the fare and boarded.
God sent a great wind and tempest to the sea, and the shipmates cast their ships’ wares into the sea to lighten the load. The Captain of the ship asked who brought this disaster upon them, and Jonah said that he had, and therefore, to cast him into the sea to stop the tempest.
They tried to bring the ship to shore, but could not, so they threw Jonah into the sea. Immediately the storm stopped. Jonah was swallowed by a great fish and was in the belly of the beast for three days and three nights.
Jonah prayed to the Lord to be out of the fish’s belly and repented. The Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on dry land. Again, God told Jonah to go to Nineveh and preach what God told him to preach. The great city of Nineveh was to be destroyed in forty days if they did not turn from their evil ways. It was Jonah who brought them the truth of their sin, and spoke to them what God put in his mouth. They repented and God saw their works and repentance and the City was saved.
It was a second chance for Nineveh, but only because they turned from their wicked ways and repented. Do I believe all of America is doing that? Of course not. However, I know a great number of sound doctrine Christians who daily pray for our nation, repent for our nation’s sins, and plead to the Lord to save our nation. I believe our answer has come in the form of Donald Trump.
Conclusion
Of course Donald Trump is not another Jonah, but he has a calling, and that calling is most likely a result of our prayers. Does The Donald know that? Probably not. God does work in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform. This man tells it like it is, he hates lies, he hates what has happened to his beloved country, and he wants to have an opportunity to fix it. It’s up to us to give him that opportunity.
So, Matt Moore, GOP leader of South Carolina believes Trump has a supernatural power behind him, and I believe that supernatural power is the Lord God who is hearing our prayers for our country. I believe we have a hope for our country in Mr. Trump. God can use whom He chooses to use to answer our prayers. We have an opportunity, a last chance before total destruction, to save our country from disaster, and God has chosen Donald Trump as the vessel who can save us.
Yes, Supernatural powers are behind Trump, as well as the American people who are for the first time in decades, hearing the voice who resonates with them.
Pray a hedge of protection around Mr. Trump, that the Lord’s protection will repel the fiery darts of the evil ones. And pray for our beloved country.
