The brain washed who believe climate change (formerly global warming) – the earth would burn up in less than a decade according to “experts” going on 80 years now.  They’re convinced people like me want to see our precious wild life and lands destroyed by responsible operations: critically important oil and natural gas drilling and extraction.

It is true that at one time corporations (starting back in the days of the “oil barons”) could have cared less about who was being poisoned with water running from oil drilling; greatly affected was our Native American population. Years ago, it got very serious back when the Keystone XL Pipeline was approved and supported by President Trump during his first term.  It would create lots of jobs! Yeah, and when it’s done those jobs – with the exception of inspectors and fixing ANY leaks would be gone.  Personally, I was against it for several reasons.

Yes, there were and still are legitimate concerns about oil pipelines shipping oil out of Canada to China and other countries which requires families whose families responsibly farmed the land for hundreds of years were in the way – including family owned farms and ranches. Why the hell should OUR fellow Americans be forced off their land to accommodate Canada shipping oil down to American ports?  That’s NOT America first. Thankfully, it’s a whole lot different now.

Our ranchers and farmers are the best stewards of our lands, not nitwits like AOC, Cha-ching card board cut-out, low IQ former VP, Al Gore, or media created “climate super star”, teen Greta Thunberg. All of them yelling about the earth burning up from “climate change” caused by cows farting and other nonsense.  Go watch this 2:58 video on X from a rancher who actually knows what is truth and shreds the BS. (Then come back here!)

Oh, and let’s not forget the BIG money involved once the shadow government decided “renewable” energy would take some of the heat off and fill their coffers at the same time.  Yeah, renewable energy. Great unless you have a Polar Vortex as we had in February 2021 which caused the death of over 300 Texans (last count I could find).

The windmills froze, people lost power for weeks because of incompetent infrastructure planning and our governor, Greg Abbott’s either misguided understanding of the climate change hoax or the $$ pouring into his campaign coffers by the growing “renewable energy” industry.

Gov. Greg Abbott touts renewable energy in speech to U.S. business leaders,

March 30, 2022: “Abbott called Texas an international leader in wind power and predicted it will be the No. 1 state for solar energy by the end of the year...

“It was a very different tone from a year ago when Abbott appeared to blame renewable energy sources — specifically wind turbines — for failing during the 2021 winter storm that left millions of Texans without power and resulted in more than 200 cold-related deaths.

“This shows how the Green New Deal would be a deadly deal for the United States of America,” Abbott said in an interview on Fox News Channel with host Sean Hannity last February. “Our wind and our solar got shut down, and they were collectively more than 10 percent of our power grid, and that thrust Texas into a situation where it was lacking power on a statewide basis.”

Here’s the truth:

Trump on Climate Change: “The Greatest Con Job Ever” – Trump opens fire on the Climate Change Cult at his UN Speech on Sept. 23, 2025.

President Trump Delivers Remarks to the United Nations General Assembly – (Like him or hate 79-year-old President Trump, his presentation is well worth watching and listening to carefully.  He put an even bigger target on his back with many of his remarks.)

“President Donald Trump addressed Europe’s delegates directly on Tuesday at the United Nations, where he warned them, “You’re destroying your heritage” because “You want to be nice,” which is certainly the most charitable interpretation of European leaders’ climate-worshiping and open-borders policies.

“I’m telling you that if you don’t get away from the green-energy scam,” Trump said in a clip posted to the social media platform X, “your country is going to fail.” Then, the president linked Europeans’ insane climate policies to their insane immigration policies.

“And if you don’t stop people that you’ve never seen before that you have nothing in common with,” he continued, “your country is going to fail…“You’re doing it because you want to be nice,” he continued. “You want to be politically correct. And you’re destroying your heritage.”

Oil drilling

Those who know me know I love our outdoors, wildlife, the beauty God created for us.

I used to go fishing all the time at the beautiful lakes in the now communist run State of California. Fished the California Delta, Carquinez Strait shipping channel where I caught nice sized white sturgeon or the rivers.  Here I am catching small mouth bass at the very beautiful Trinity Lake, Trinity National Forest.

Fishing for trout on the Stanislaus River; made great dinner!  And we always made sure to respect the land and wildlife around us.  Not that we didn’t carry guns because, well, sometimes the bears think you are their dinner.  Thirty-two years ago, I began to discover the diabolical plan to destroy our country and so the ‘fun’ times of fishing and a lot of water skiing gradually were replaced by doing so many radio shows, speaking engagements and writing, just not enough hours in a week.

I mean who doesn’t love polar bears and penguins and turtles?  The ‘global warming’ aka Climate Change cash cow was manufactured by the Russians back in 1928.  Jeri was one of the most careful, thorough researchers I had the pleasure of knowing.

Jeri Lynn Ball, 2000, Masters of Seduction: “At the Sixth Party Congress held in Moscow in 1928, Communists wrote and approved “The Program” to bring in the New World Order. What most Americans don’t know is the real nature of this diabolical criminal scheme. The Program of the Third International called for a global environmental program and for the transformation of all human beings on earth to accept the New World Order.

“These and other facts are brought to light by General Benton Partin in his videotape, Globalism: The Program. The Communists planned to use the global environmental program as a means of eradicating national sovereignty, capitalism and creating a world dictatorship… Twenty delegates from the U.S. voted for the 1928 Program of the Third International.” Rest at link.

Game on.

China Joe Biden gave a speech June 29, 1992:  THE THRESHOLD OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER: THE WILSONIAN VISION AND AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY IN THE 1990’S AND BEYOND (Senate – June 29, 1992) [Page: S9098] It was time to crank up the phony environmental crisis part of the plan.  This is a very long read because more of the diabolical plans to destroy these united States of America follows explained in detail by Sen. Alan Cranston.  Proven supporter of world government, now deceased.

Of course, it involves creating this environmental utopia you and I are supposedly destroying.  Followed by another dirty player, John Kerry: “Today, I shall describe the third and fourth parts of America’s agenda for a new world order: organizing for collective military security, and launching a worldwide economic-environmental revolution.”

Why is it important to read speeches like the ones above (from the National Archives – I love that place!)? In order for Americans to fully understand our internal enemies who sound so altruistic but are dead, evil souls who care about nothing but money and power. NOT for “the good of all”, but for themselves.  You must know your enemy and how to defeat them.

In the late Dixie Lee Ray’s MUST read book (1993), Environmental Overkill, one gets a full accounting of what really went on with Al Gore and his loony friends at the Rio Summit.  On page 10 of her book, it states:

“The objective, clearly enunciated by the leaders of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), is to bring about a change in the present system of independent nations. The future is to be world government, with central planning by the UN. Fear of environmental crises, whether real or not, is expected to lead to compliance. If force is needed, it will be provided by a UN green-helmeted police force, already authorized by the Security Council.”

Dixie Lee Ray was a former governor of Washington State, Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission and Asst. Secretary of State in the U.S. Bureau of Oceans. She passed away in 1994 and was a Democrat.

Oil drives the economy and civilization; all these environmental experts who continually scream and yell all this propaganda about CO2 and oil/drilling will be the end of mankind when it’s just the opposite.

Sources for truthful science and what will kill us all if this ‘net zero’ plan continues.  Ronald Stein, P.E. writes superb columns for NWV’s on this very issue.  This is his most recent column (this one co-authored by Yoshihiro Muronaka:  Net-Zero Emission Ideologies Will be Destructive to Future Generations, Sept. 25, 2025.  I highly recommend reading Stein’s columns; archives here. Great learning example:  Wind Turbines and Solar Panels ONLY Generate Electricity, Aug. 21, 2025

Alaska is one of the few states I haven’t been to but would love to before I leave this earth but travel, kennel my furr babies, etc., isn’t in the budget. I’m the last person who wants to see Alaska, its magnificent wildlife (like caribou and those adorable baby seals, destroyed by corporations who only care about getting what’s in the ground: oil & minerals. Not to mention respecting the indigenous native population (some in favor of drilling, others say no) in certain parts of the state.  Several people I know including my daughter have all been to Alaska and say it is spectacular.

So, drill or not drill.  Gov. Dunleavy and administration officials applaud Trump’s Alaska policies – “Executive orders will enable more drilling, mining and other resource development, reversing Biden-era environmental restrictions, governor says”, Jan. 22, 2025.

Interior Secretary Takes Steps to Unleash Alaska’s Extraordinary Resource Potential, March 20, 2025.  America must become fully energy independent with a responsible set of rules and the hell with foreign countries supplying us what we need in exchange for all kinds of demands and moola.

More than a decade ago I wrote a very important column on ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Reserve) and drilling. BIG fight over that; fast forward to now – big lawsuits are sure to come.  I hope you can find time to read the facts and do share this column so Americans have a better understanding on this issue instead of the lies and deception vomited up by the prostitute media web sites. No Drilling in ANWR (Mine)

(Are you categorized as what’s called the Gen Z generation? NWV’s would like to publish columns by Americans who fall into that age category.  Have your voice heard because a lot of “Gen Z” Americans get unfairly sliced and diced by the prostitute media.  Readers can agree or not politely. That’s what civilized, intelligent people do – not assassinate someone they disagree with like Charlie Kirk and others.

Paul Walter CEO of NWV’s is the main editor. Columns submitted that are blatantly racist or full of the F word will not be published.  If you’re interested, contact him at 1.800.955.0116.)

Fact: I live in what’s known as the Permian Basin in W. Texas, Big Spring to be precise.  Oil, ag, ranching.

“The Permian Basin is an oil-and-gas-producing area located in West Texas and the adjoining area of southeastern New Mexico. The Permian Basin covers an area approximately 250 miles wide and 300 miles long and is composed of more than 7,000 fields (best represented in Railroad Commission of Texas production figures as districts 7C, 08, and 8A) in West Texas.

“Various producing formations such as the Yates, San Andres, Clear Fork, Spraberry, Wolfcamp, Yeso, Bone Spring, Avalon, Canyon, Morrow, Devonian, and Ellenberger are all part of the Permian Basin, with oil and natural gas production depths ranging from a few hundred feet to five miles below the surface. Other areas within the greater Permian Basin include the Delaware Basin and Midland Basin. The Delaware Basin includes significant development in the Bone Spring and Wolfcamp, together known as the Wolfbone. The Midland Basin includes significant development in the Spraberry and Wolfcamp, together known as the Wolfberry. Recent increased use of enhanced-recovery practices in the Permian Basin has resulted in a substantial impact on U.S. oil production.

“Because of the Permian Basin, Texas not only receives an enormous economic benefit but also helps provide energy security for the country. The greater Permian Basin accounts for nearly 40 percent of all oil production in the United States and nearly 15 percent of its natural gas production, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. And there’s significant potential growth simply from the Delaware Basin. In 2018, the U.S. Geological Survey estimated that the Delaware Basin in West Texas and Southern New Mexico has the potential to produce 46.3 billion barrels of oil and the potential to produce 281 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.”

Texas governor Greg Abbott signs law establishing decommissioning procedures for BESS, June 10, 2025: “Texas, US, Governor Greg Abbott signed a law placing mandates on decommissioning battery energy storage system (BESS) facilities at the end of their lifecycle…

Establishing a decommissioning requirement for BESS facilities

“Standalone BESS projects and energy storage co-located with solar or wind must be decommissioned at the end of their lifecycle if they are not to be repowered.

“Current law covers projects sharing an interconnection point. HB 3809 applies to projects that do not share a grid interconnection point.

“The BESS project owner must remove all battery storage equipment, including battery storage units, transformers, substations, buried cables and power lines. “Foundations need to be excavated a minimum of 3 feet below the surface.

“Additionally, the landowner may ask the lessee to remove roads, large rocks, reseed pastureland with native grasses, restore the land to a tillable condition using suitable soil treatment methods and ensure that all recyclable materials are gathered and sent for recycling.”
