Most American kids today take their freedoms for granted. Most don’t possess a clue as to the “Greatest Generation” that saved the world from Nazi aggression in World War II. It seems to me that most Americans are now realizing that America is heading in the wrong direction. While we may disagree on the reasons why we are heading in the wrong direction, the fact remains we are heading in the wrong direction. In this article today, I want to present four reasons why America is heading in the wrong direction.

Memorial Day—which will be officially observed on Monday, May 26, this year — is a day to remember what should be remembered every day: The service and sacrifice of the more than 1.3-million American veterans who have given their lives in war so that we, their posterity, might live as free Americans.

It’s based on the facts that we know, and the coming facts that our children will endure or perish from, because we didn’t take action to change the course of history.
