You see adults and teens staring down at their cell phones at every conceivable location in the world. You may see them tapping on their cell phones at bus stops, in the park, while riding their bicycles, while skiing, in the weight room, at the pool, on the beach, while attending a lecture, in church, in classrooms…virtually everywhere in America and around the world.
I have no doubt that God’s Word gives us all the information we need to know, and nothing is hidden from us that we, as Christ followers, must understand. But the Bible is also filled with information that is not YET for us all to understand. This is especially true when it comes to Bible prophecy.
The Devil’s Advocate, a fictional novel written by Taylor Caldwell in 1951, described a near-futuristic dystopian society called The Democracy of America, which encompassed the former United States, Canada, and Mexico a few decades after World War II. A military dictatorship with communist and fascist characteristics ruled the country. States and provinces were replaced by districts or sections under a military commander.
This God-revealed insight has been given to me gradually so my feeble mind could accept, understand, process and teach it to others. We will receive term limits by voting into office elected officials who campaigned for such passage. We can also write our senators and House members in such large numbers that we make it a national calling.
